OMG, Jeffbert! It's true! I didn't realize it! It catched my attention because I actually did some comics of the Simpsons' cast as Dragon Ball characters, back when I was about 15. The cast was:
Homer as Simp Gokuh
Bart as Simp Gohan
Marge as Xuxa (Chi Chi)
An adult Lisa as Bloomer (Bulma)
Moe as Moegeta
Barney Gumble as Nàpia (Nappa. Nàpia is a word for "nose" in my mother language)
Milhouse as Krilet (Krilin, with a diminutive which can be translated to "Krilie")
Skinner as Cor Pansit/Piccolo (I put him an untranslatable name)
Otto as Panxa (Yamcha. "Panxa" means "belly" in my mother language)
Scratchy as Ten Shin Cat
Itchy as Maus (Chaoz, I took the name from de Art Spielgman comic)
Disco Stu as D'iscognan (Yajirobee with the variation that now is a crazy musketeer)
...And a host of others. Now I remember this and I'm feeling a bit old.
