Oh! I believe the faded shading on the stunt robots is visible only to the viewers, as it seems apparent that the other characters do not notice it.

Lamp at far left, Dekobin (modeled upon Disney's Gepetto) in the middle, & perhaps Mifune Go (Speed Racer) at right. I was thinking he might be Koichi, of #16, Vehicle, White Planet (8, Silver Comet), but doubt it.

Far right: Sasuke? Anyway, they are treated cruelly, just tossed into a warehouse when not in use. Definitely an influence on The big adventure of little robot Sam.

I tried to capture a good sequence of this, Atom running to leap into the air, then becoming entangled in the wires.

























It seems the star feels threatened by his stuntman.












As I understand it, the Hameggs are the agents for the star & his stuntman.
