Astro Boy fan stories

While I enjoy fan fiction, I'm wondering if maybe we'd serve our forum better if there were a separate thread for Black Jack or other Tezuka-character fiction? This is especially helpful for new visitors who search for Black Jack related material and could miss stories "hidden" under a heading that reads "Astro Boy Fan Stories"

Of course when characters appear together in a single fiction, that's another story altogether (pun intended!).

I think it's great to expand the coverage here to the rest of Tezuka's work (and although I don't know much about Black Jack -- my interest is piqued, and now I have to find out more). But I also like to the "convenience" of keeping Astro Boy threads basically focused on him/his fellow characters.

I see what you mean. I'm posting nothing but Astro Boy stories here. I also include other Tezuka characters. I think Uran&Astro1980 is the only one not posting Astro Boy stories. I'll post more of my story as soon as I can. I've been so busy with summer gym and my 4-H project. It's pretty much crunch time for me.

YAY 4-H!!! I work for a Cooperative Extension office and get to see lots of 4-H stuff. Right now I'm designing a flyer for September registration, and found a great photo with a girl and ROBOT in it (of course you KNOW who I REALLY wanted to put in there!! :astro BTW our Robotics 4-H clubs are super-popular. What's your project? Got Fair comin' up soon, right? Good luck and hope you get that BLUE RIBBON!!

Actually for 4-H I'm making a purse, with my schools colors (red and blue), and I'm sewing a doll of Tezuka's Marvelous Melmo, who, as you might have read earlier, was a guest character in my first Astro Boy fan story. This Melmo doll is gonna be a special doll where you open a velcro in the back, pull her inside out, and she'd be grownup Melmo. I like to sew dolls of various Tezuka characters, and when i told mom about Melmo, she said I should enter her.

ASTRO BOY felt weird when the command words made him feel like a girl robot- he felt natural but weird.
" Hi sis- love being my sister now?"
ASTRO BOY when he heard URAN say that knew something was wrong- especially when she said-" get used to the feeling"-
ASTRO BOY STARTED TO SAY SOMETHING BUT THE GIRL PROGRAMMING he was given made him say- "yes he did love being her sister"-
"Welcome TO THE TWILIGHT ZONE- my sweet older sister."
ASTRO BOY felt helpless all he could think was girl thoughts-

@ Anime Girl 14 -- That Melmo Doll sounds fantastic -- if you can, please post a photo! That's quite a project -- and actually a great idea for a doll to sell. I'm guessing you could advance to state level with that. Best of luck!

@ avatargirl -- Yeah!! If I were Astro Boy-turned-girl, I know what I'd be thinking: "What?! I'm NOT flying around with those messy, smoky flaming feet, and ruining my favorite outfit! Dr. Ochanomizu or Tenma better come up with a more ladylike way to fly -- like WINGS!! Oh, and while they're working on me -- I'm tired of this hair style -- gimme HAIR -- long, beautiful, wavy HAIR. And if you get rid of the jet boots, I won't have to worry about burning it. *pauses, smiles, makes eyes twinkle* thaaank you!! !

I fear for Uran -- 'cause now she's gonna have a super-star sister to share the spotlight with -- she'll have competition for cute little girl robot, this is going to be verrrrry interesting!

Like I said, now I've gotta check out Black Jack -- just thought it could be a good idea to have a separate Black Jack fiction thread? Can't help it -- that's my editor/marketing OCD coming out! Just a suggestion to keep his stuff easier to find. No prob!! sorry sorry!!
