Tawashi was expecting to be shouted at, so he wasn't taken back by her snap. But she was nonetheless right, the Ministry is more important and the two went back to the elevator to go back to ground level.
He couldn't help but notice that she was still crying a stream of tears from her eyes, and couldn't help but still feel concerned for her well-being.
Not to mention, he was confused as to why she was suddenly calling him by 'Brush-san'. No one has ever called him anything else other than Inspector Tawashi, and he was certain that she wasn't very fond of him. So why the nick name? He decided to let that slide for now.
"Em... clearly there's something wrong..." Tawashi said in the stillness of the silence, his hands nervously in his pockets. "...Is this about Dr. Tenma?"

When he mentioned Dr.Tenma,I froze and i looked up at him and i thought in my head,Jake isn't here and Tawashi seems trust worthy so i asked.
"Yes, it is...Tawashi,could i trust you with secrets,secrets that effect not only me but Tenma and everyone involved over the last few years and promise that under no circumstances are to tell anyone especially Tenma unless otherwise? I asked
I had no other choice.I knew Tawashi before he was inspector,back in the day when he was lieutenant,fresh with a few years on the force.

She unbuttoned her shirt and Tawashi immediately began to panic. "Dr. Yumi, what are you-?!" But was cut off again when she explained that she was Hoshie Tenma.
His eyes widened out of shock.
"Y-Y-You're Hoshie?!" He ended up exclaiming loudly. And a long silence had followed.
"...But, but why? Why did you lie about your death? And what about this 'Exodus organization' and this 'Mr. T.O.', I've never even heard of anything of that sort!" He asked.
He then eyed her carefully, hands on his hips. "Hoshie, this organization... it better not be what I think it is." He wondered if the organization was some sort of an organized crime gang.
