A few minutes ago, I went by IMDb's full movie cast, and it turns out that mysterious circus girl's name is Cora, and she'll be played by Kristen Bell. Also, there are three child robots in the cast, presumably of the robot circus.

Once again, she is Cora in lieu of Cathy.

Yes Fauna, I also think Cora is in essence the same as Cathy, the sisterly friend of Astro at the circus. I like Kristen Bell. She will do a wonderful job on the voice for Cora. I believe Scarlett Johansson was originally cast for this part but I think getting Kristen instead is a major step up.

Could this be the three kid robot in question? They look more human but its unclear since we don't have a full view.

my theroy is that maybe that the 3 kids could be astro boy's school firends like in the anime and the manga!^^ that one posible thought!^^ but then again they could be anit-robot kids....hm....

is he gonna have a love insterest in the movie? O//////O n-n-not that i'm jelouse or anything? hmmm..I'M NOT JELOUS I SWARE!! XD

The different legs! I hadn't noticed those yet! Apparently the kids will be named Widget/Grace, Sludge and Sam, so now I can see them as Americanized versions of Astro's friends.

If we do get to see Astro attending school then I would like to see Tamao/Specs/Theodore (the kid with the big glasses) and Kenichi/Kenneth (student president) as his classmates. There was also big bully kid too. I really hope they are included for the sake of staying to true to the original source.

No Americanized versions of Astro's friends please. Keep as close to the original as possible.

Well, for the sake of making guesses I would say they are human. The one on the left of the picture would most likely be Theodore, the one on the right would be Kenichi, and I would love to say the middle one is Asto, but he doesn't wear shoes, so I'm going to say that its the a new character maybe the new female one.
Hope for the best. And look out for what shoes any characters are wearing in feature pictures.
