This is actually really adorable. It's worth giving it a shot! I wonder what kind of plot line it would have? I hope they keep some of the original story, even if it was more of the lighter parts. (Can't have those depressing scenes in a children's show..Now can we.)
I hope the episodes come to the states. I'd love to see them, even if they're just English subs.

So far as we've been witness (those who watched the stream on Channels) the "plot" is episodic and thus there is no real deepening "plot" as with the 2003 anime and some of the 1980s series.

I'd love to see them put on a special DVD (it would only be one DVD) but I don't think we'll be seeing that...

At some point it was supposed to launch on October 1st 2013 but that's long past. In fact the reason Little Astro Boy aired on Channels' channel is that Taiyo still hadn't launched on schedule. I think the radio show I posted about said it'd launch in early 2015? Dunno if anyone else who listened to it remembers better than me.

I suppose it makes sense though since there really isn't that much documentation of Little Astro Boy outside of this site. Even the official English Wikipedia page for Astro Boy doesn't document its existence.
