Agreed, I'm more comfortable with voice chatting anyway. I don't mind video, but I think it's more of an "accessory" of sorts.

I'm completely fine with talking. Hopefully that won't be a problem which I doubt. Maybe it'll help any "shyness."

We don't necessarily have to list everybody now that I think of it, as long as we do not reach the 25 limit. I guess I mainly wanted to see where everybody interested were from, so if possible it isn't set in the middle of the night for anyone. So far I see one European and the rest are in North America if I'm not mistaken.

I don't currently own a laptop at the moment, but my sister said it would be okay to use her laptop and headset if we end up doing this. I would have to create another Skype account on her computer, though. To be honest, I've actually never used Skype before!

Anyway, this should be interesting if I get to do this! Doing a voice chat sounds much better to me to be honest.

The chat thread is a good idea, AprilSeven! Also if some people would rather not speak but would like to hear, they could join in Skype anyway, especially if people are to follow in the chat thread and report part of the conversations there, I guess. Just do whatever feels right to you.

The timezones are going from +1 GMT to -8 GMT, so it's a 9 hours difference. I think it would have to be between 9 AM to 9 PM for everybody, ideally. If It's 9 PM in Europe, then it would be noon in the Pacific time zone. If it's 9 AM at Pacific time zone, then it's 6 PM in Europe. That leaves us with just a 3 hours opening, unless the European members happen to be night owls. That would be between noon and 3 PM Eastern time (-5 GMT). That's right in the middle of the day, so that may no suit everybody, but I don't know if any time would; I doubt it, unfortunately.

I'm just going to suggest 2 PM eastern time on Saturday, because if nobody suggests anything, it won't happen. Discuss.

I thought you were talking about a European among the ones interested in participating, but I can't identify any in the list; I realize that maybe you were talking about me For the record, I live in Luxembourg, so I qualify However I'm not sure I will participate: I don't have a Skype account and am not interested in having one. I don't like Skype for philosophical reasons, but that doesn't mean I won't participate if I happen to think about it at the right time and I have free time on my hands
