I'm okay with the 2 pm time slot on a Saturday. July 30th works much better for me than tomorrow, but obviously Novacain can't make it.

Now there is an idea! I realized my suggestion was a bit last minute, but I figured that if nobody suggested anything, nothing would ever happen. Alright, I will create a pool shortly. I therefore suggest we forget about tomorrow since it's so soon and not everybody will have time to see this thread or answer the poll (or download Skype, or borrow a microphone).

Could it be on a Sunday, as well? That would give us more options.

No no, I really took the time to check where everybody was from before suggesting a time slot. Tetsuwan Atom seemed to be interested in this thread, and, after performing a search on the forum, I found out he mentioned several times here he spoke Dutch and that he watched the Dutch TV recently as well. I think we might later hear from other Europeans too.

I had assumed that those who had not replied were not interested. If you have another software suggestion, fafner, you can let us know. It amuses me that you happen to have reservations about Skype since it is based in Luxembourg.

YAAY for the poll - still haven't contacted Acorn - another of our air conditioners died, and most of the stores are sold out around here. I get literally from heat, so we are going off in search of another AC unit.

Sunday would work for me this week . . . . this is sooo great.

OR if I can get wifi at the college where the concert is on Saturday, maybe I can call in from my ipod . . . hmmmm.

Sounds good, I have a tournament this weekend and depending on whether we win or lose the games on Saturday, my free time may vary on Sunday. Hopefully I'll be able to chat, but we'll see how it goes.

Sounds great about the poll! Sunday would most likely not work for me, however, July 31st might work for me. Not sure yet.

EDIT: This weekend will definitely not work for me. I will also be gone on Monday through Friday next week. Earliest I'll be able to do this is the 30th.

I've created the poll. I apologize for my first attempt! I had never created one before and wanted to see how it worked. I never, ever thought that the thread would show up before I would even get the chance to enter the options!!! hmy: So I left it to be filled later... only to realize the thread had been visible all this time, and with a huge typo in the title!

I wonder how in the world I ended up being the one making suggestions and creating that poll...

I started the options next weekend to give a chance to as many people as possible to see it and get ready.

As for during the week and the weekend, if only because of the three hours time difference in North America, it would be very difficult, it would be too early for some and too late for others if we were to do it in the evening even considering only North America (Europeans would have to be up in the middle of the night), and impossible for many during the day.
