Seriously, you wander around in public like that. Don't be too concerned about sharing with a bunch of people that understand the look. :3

I just thought of something else. Being blond A_W probably has blue eyes. Wonder if he thought of getting contact Lenses to change his eye color to brown to complete the "look"?

I do not approve of contacts unless perscribed by a doctor or only used for special events. I once had a friend who had blue contacts, and her doctor made her stop wearing them or else her eyesight would have been shot.

That's an interesting question though.

Yes, I do have to wear contacts to make my eyes brown. Sometimes I just ignore that fact and go around as a blue eyed astroboy.

The use of contacts to change the eye color is quite common for actors, in cosplay and for party use. If they are properly fitted (to match the shape of your eyes) they should be quite safe. I would think that the soft kind of contacts are less of an issue but the hard kind were more common at one time for cosmetic use. Startrek's Brent Spiner had to wear large colored contacts to show the eye color required. He needed to wear them many hours a day in his role as Data.

I can't even tolerate eyedrops. O.o;

Heheh, Data is boss.

And anyways; I'm a brunette, but I have blue eyes. I wouldn't bother with the contacts, though, because I'm forever getting crap in my eyes, for some reason. And I get the impression that the cosmetic variety would be uncomfortable. I wear glasses, anyways, and I wouldn't take them off, because I need them to see. Bottom line: Unless I'm doing a very serious cosplay (which, due to my current facial structure, is unlikely to happen anytime soon), I wouldn't bother with anything else. I'd might be able to pull off a Cobalt cosplay, though... my nose isn't upturned, and my hair looks terrible when it's too dark, but...

I might actually consider contacts for day-to-day wear, though. Or those corrective contact lenses you wear overnight to correct the shape of your eye if you've got an astigmatism like I've got. It's not permanent, though; if you stop wearing them for too long a period of time, your eye will revert back to its original shape.

... Hmm, I really need an eye exam...
