No, it's alright you keep doing what you're doing. I don't care if it inspires you as long as you don't rip the entire armor thing from my story into your story, then I would have a problem. No. His armor comes out differently. And its not just Astro with the armor, Cobalt has his own set, too. And no, I don't like taking ideas from others. Thanks.

Well everybody, I said I would write a fan fiction (It will be a doujin, also) and here it is! *silence* Er, here it is:

GENRE: drama, adventure, horror (?), fantasy, and fiction

AGES MOST LIKELY FOR: er, maybe 13 and up? (Actually, the doujin might be worse)

(Notes: I don't really know how Cobalt acts. I just always make his the mischievous one of the super robot siblings. Hope you all like the story.)

Chapter one, IN WHICH,
There is a Bully

I ran as fast as I could. My feet pattered on the sidewalk. My book bag was heavy. I checked my watch. I was so late! I ran though the courtyard.
Who am I? I am Uranium Zoran! But, everyone just calls me Uran. I am twelve years old, and I go to Metro City Middle School. I am a robot girl.
I rushed though the door. I looked around the classroom. Everyone was staring at me. My brother, Cobalt, looked at me. His eyes were slanted. Everyone stared at me. Someone began to giggle. They started to whisper to each other. I was burning with embarrassment.
I walked to my desk next to Cobalt’s.
“Man, what happened to you?” he whispered, his eyes still slanted.
I glared at him. “You left me on the street!” I muttered through clenched teeth.
Cobalt smiled, his eyes sparkling. “Uran-chan isn’t cute anymore when she is mad.”
Cute? I sat down at my chair, my face flushed. I hoped nobody heard that. The class room was quiet. All I could hear was the teacher erasing some math problems on the blackboard.
“You’re late, Uran.” Shunsaku Ban, our teacher, stated. Shunsaku Ban is also known as Daddy Walrus. Why? Because of his thick white mustache, which looks like a walrus’ whiskers.
I slanted my eyes. Daddy Walrus was pointing out the obvious.
“I’ll let you off the hook this time, but try not to be late in the future, okay?” he was saying.
“Yes sir.” I gulped. Jeez, did I know. Otousan and Okaasan get really upset when they are called to the principals office. (Note: Otousan= father and Okaasan= mother.)
A few hours later, it was lunch time. I won’t bore you with what school work we did. I quickly grabbed my brown paper bag from my locker. I walked into the lunch room. I took out my food and organized them. I was just about to dip my spoon into my soup, when two girls walked up to the table I was sitting at alone.
One of them placed her hand on the table. She leaned forward, a smug look on her face. I recognized her. “You’re on our seats.” she sneered. She smirked.
I looked up at them. “Oh. I didn’t know this was your table.” I mumbled. In fact, the girls had been sitting at a different table a few days ago. I think they just wanted to bug me. They had been doing that recently.
“You know, you’re really plain for a super robot.” she laughed meanly.
I heard a few other girls started adding things to that. She’s so boring! She looks funny! The words echoed in my ears. I grabbed my food, threw them back in the paper bag, and threw them away in the trash can.
The rest of the day was a bit awkward. A lot of the girls continued to whisper to each other. I felt like I was six inches tall. This day was no different then the last few. It had been like this since school started again.



Chapter two, IN WHICH,
They Get Upgraded!

When school was over, I started off for home. I guess Cobalt had already left. My book bag bumped against my knees as I ran. I knew I had to get home soon. Otousan and Okaasan work late, and I end up having to cook a snack for my brother.
I reached the house in record time. I was gasping for air. Jeez. I took out my key, and opened the door. I walked into my room, threw my book bag on the ground, and ran into the bathroom. I splashed some water on my face. I ran out of the bathroom, and into the kitchen.
Astro, my other brother, and Cobalt were sitting at the table. Astro was reading a book, and Cobalt was just staring out the window. I sighed. It looked like they hadn’t been there for long, which was a good thing.
Astro Boy, aka Atom, is the oldest of all of us. He was built by the former head scientist at the Ministry of Science. Who was that scientist? Dr. Tenma. He is sixteen, and in high school. He goes to Metro City High school. He is really nice to Cobalt and me. Plus, he is the strongest robot in the whole world!
Cobalt and I were built by Dr. Elefun O’Shay. Cobalt and I are about the same ‘age’, so we go to the same school, even the same class.
Cobalt looked like a younger version of Astro. He even wears a turtleneck long sleeve shirt under a T-shirt, and techno red boots like Astro. The only difference is that he wears blue jean shorts, while Astro wears pants, and that Cobalt’s hair points upwards like horns. Astro’s hair is liked two spikes, one on the side, and the other at the top.
What do I look like? I wear a short red shirt with a shiny red brooch like thing at the collar, a short red skirt, white knee socks, and red flat shoes. I have shiny black hair just like Astro and Cobalt, but mine is more like a short hair cut.
Enough about what we look like. I coughed to get though attention. “Um, Astro?” I asked. I placed a pot on the stove, and took out some ramen noodle packets to cook.
Astro looked up from his book. “Yes?” he asked. For a teenager, he still has eyes like a little boy. We all have huge brown eyes.
“Why are robots treated unfairly?” I asked bluntly. I turned to my brother, my hands on my hips.
If Astro was surprised about the question, he didn’t show it. He smiled slightly. “I don’t really know what Humans have against us robots.” he admitted. “But, we can make ourselves better,” he said, smiling more, “we can get upgraded!”
I liked that idea. It was cool. I would love to get upgraded! I don’t really have as much powers and strength as Cobalt and Astro. So you can see why I went for the idea.
“Yeah! Lets all get upgraded!” I said, my eyes sparkling.
Cobalt leaned over to Astro. “Look at the monster that you created.” he whispered.
Astro looked tired, but a little excited. “I know. But, it will be cool.” he replied.
I turned to the stove, and turned it off. “Let’s go!”
“Wha- now?!” Cobalt gasped in surprise. He slanted his eyes. “Okay, okay. But you didn’t even eat today. I saw you throw your food away.”
I ignored him. Astro opened his mouth as if he was about to say something. I waved it off. I grabbed one of Astro’s hands with my right hand, and Cobalt’s hand with the other. I pulled the all the way to the Ministry of Science.
A few minutes later…
“So you’re telling me that you guys want to be upgraded?” Dr. Elefun asked in surprise.
I nodded promptly. I was not going to take no as an answer!
“Okay, I guess it’s possible. I have been working on some new weapons and armor.” Dr. Elefun replied, a frown forming on his face. He looked awfully uncertain of himself.
A few minutes later, Dr. Elefun had my brothers and me asleep on three different tables. Cobalt and Astro were in the same kind of capsules, I was in a different one.

Chapter three, IN WHICH,
It Is Breakfast Time

30 HOURS LATER…

“Wake up!” “Uran! Wake up!” “Wake up, Uran!”
Alright, stop yelling! Augh, my head hurts. I opened my eyes slowly. Eh, no one was even in my room. Oh well, I wont be able to go asleep again.
Wait, what about the upgrade? I sat up suddenly. Was it just a dream? Did it even happen? Augh, what time is it?! I looked up at my clock. 9:00 a.m.?!
Better check the calendar… I jumped out of my bed. It was only the 15th. The beginning of Fall Vacation! Fall vacation lasts for two weeks. I was safe, for now. I yawned. Gotta get some breakfast.
I walked out of my room. I slowly shuffle across the living room. This headache is getting on my nerves. I walked into the kitchen. I was surprised to see Astro, Otousan, Okaasan, and Cobalt all eating breakfast. Cobalt and Astro were still in pajamas, while Okaasan and Otousan had on their work clothes. (Note: Otousan means Father, Okaasan means mother.)
“Hello, Uran dear!” Okaasan smiled at me. “We all woke up a little late, didn’t we?”
“Yeah.” I mumbled. I sat at my chair, and put my head on my arms. I closed my eyes.
“Uran!” Cobalt yelled into my ear. “I had been calling you, but you didn’t wake up.”
I snapped up. I glared at Cobalt. I was about to smack him, when Astro came to the rescue. “I’ll get your breakfast. You must have a headache after what happened yesterday.”
Otousan and Okaasan nodded. Otousan began to read the newspaper while drinking his coffee and Okaasan was reading a recipe book, daintily putting forkfuls of eggs into her mouth. Cobalt was reading a shonen manga. Astro had been reading a graphic novel. Yup, we are always reading. I slunk into my chair, and pulled out a shojo manga. Astro brought me a bowl of cereal.
“Thanks, Astro.” I mumbled. I began to eat my cereal. I looked around at everyone else. Okaasan and Otousan stood up, and put away their dishes. Okaasan kissed me on the cheek and smiled at the others. “Otousan and I are going to work, be good, you hear?”
“Yes, Okaasan.” my brothers and I called after her. Cobalt and I looked at Astro. He was in charge. He grinned sheepishly at us. Cobalt suddenly stood up. He grinned a sly grin.
“Well, I’m going to the forest to try out my new powers.” he announced. The forest is just behind our house.
“Powers?” I asked. So, was it really real? Astro and Cobalt looked at me in shock.
“I guess she forgot. It might have been to much for Uran-chan to handle.” Cobalt whispered to Astro with a smirk on his face. Cobalt turned and turned the doorknob to the backdoor. “Well, I’m off.” he closed the door behind him. Astro opened the door again. “Cobalt!” he yelled. “You’re still in your pajamas!”
Cobalt ran back into the house, up the stairs. I heard a bang, and a bunch of rustling. Cobalt barged down the stairs, his face red with embarrassment. “Thanks Astro!” he yelled over his shoulder.
Astro and I stared at Cobalt. I shook my head and stifled a laugh. Even Astro was trying hard to keep a straight face. He closed the door. I helped Astro put away the breakfast stuff, then we both walked back to our rooms.
I stood in front of my closet. Most of my outfits are all the same: Short red shirt in the same design of my old short dress when I was barely built. Short red mini skirt. Red shoes. I sighed and grabbed the outfit.
I walked back down the stairs in the attire. I didn’t know where Astro was. Probably still in his room. I walked out the backdoor, looking for Cobalt.


Chapter four, IN WHICH,
Cobalt in Trouble

I walked cautiously into the forest, looked around for Cobalt-chan. “Cobalt?” I called out softly. “Where are you?”
I heard a gasped, then a scream. It sounder like Cobalt. I looked around in fright. I ran in the direction of Cobalt. I found Cobalt pinned on the ground by a ugly looked purple monster. It was a wrinkled, skinny thing. It’s teeth foamed with blood.
“Leave my brother alone!” I yelled. I put my hand out, and vines began to grow around my arm and hand. An bow and arrow formed in my hand. So it wasn’t a dream!
I aimed, and shot at the monster. It screeched loudly, backing away from Cobalt-chan. Cobalt looked at me in surprised. Quickly, it turned into a scowl. He looked annoyed.
“I was doing fine on my own!” he hissed. “Just because you got your special parasite powers now, doesn’t mean that I didn’t get upgraded too!”
His angry words were harsh. I knew he didn’t mean them, right?
I slunk to my knees, staring at Cobalt. He turned his back on me, and looked for the monster. “Great, you scared away my target practice!” he growled.
“Cobalt-chan-”
Cobalt ran from me, back to the house. He looked really upset. My bow and arrow slunk back into my hand. I stared at it. Parasite? I have plants in me, or what?
Suddenly, something grabbed me. I gasped, and looked up. The monster now had me!


Chapter five, IN WHICH, Uran Dies

I had to get away. I remembered something else. I looked down. I grabbed the band that was on my thigh. I took it, and it slid into a long, sharp stick. I tried to hit the monster with the stick. I slashed the monster across the face with the tip of the stick.
The monster looked more angered then afraid of me. It grabbed my arm. It was strong. The monster slashed me across the chest with its long, sharp claws. Liquid I didn’t even know I had flew out from the wound. I wasn’t such if it was blood or not, but it wasn’t red. It was kind of green.
I was afraid. Sure, I had been good at my aim when I hit it with the bow and arrow, but that was far range. I wasn’t good at close range. Roots began to grow out of my arms. The plants in my body probably didn’t want to die. I was, after all, their new master. The roots grabbed the monsters arms. The monster screeched, looking really mad. I tried to put some distance between us.
The demon took out a long spear threw it at me. It was a good aim. I stabbed though my back, barely missing my electronic heart. I gasped. More of the green liquid come out of my mouth as I tried helplessly to crawl away from the beast.
The monster grabbed me, and pulled one of my arms off. I shrieked in pain. Plants began to grow out from where my arm was suppose to be. The monster continued pulling me apart like a rag doll.
“Uran!” I heard Astro yell. I saw Astro and Cobalt running from the backdoor. Both of them had looks of fright on their faces. It took them long enough to come.
The monster dropped me like an old toy, and somehow disappeared. “I WILL COME BACK FOR YOU, URANIUM ZORAN!” it hissed in my ear before it vanished.
Cobalt ran up to me. “Uran!” he cried. All that was left of me was my upper body, and my head. I gasped. Cobalt pulled me onto his lap. He looked frightened. “I shouldn’t have left you here all alone.” he sobbed.
Astro kneeled down and stared at me in the eyes. His eyes were just as full of fright as Cobalt’s. “Uran, you’ll be alright, I swear.”
I said my last words: “Don’t forget about me.”
