@ Gotta:  Haha, I know. ... I can't help but keep replaying the part of Hetalia: Axis Powers were Italy grows up (before, he looked and sounded like a little chibi girl  ). It's funny, since one of the character thought all the time that he was a girl, and the sudden change of his voice was a big shock.

@ Gotta: *tilts head* I was watching the anime, not reading the manga. And I'm not sneak peaking, just saying. It was hilarious. Italy's so adorable and naive, and he's voiced by one of my favorite voice actors. <3

Satus, you know Japanese? A lot of people here would envy you here! :D

Hi!
A little, I still need a lot of practice. Translating things helps me learn, it increases my vocabulary.
But I don't talk to Japanese people much, cos I get so shy and nervous.

"Astro Forever" wrote:It's interesting, I know nothing about art, and didn't know people used mannequins to help... not that this would make a difference for me since I am so bad at it, but I still like to know how the talented members here are working! :D

Drawing with the left hand... wow! :o hmy:

Yeah, I've seen small mannequins in arts and crafts type stores. :) I've never used a mannequin for reference myself, but my sister does. Although I still draw characters looking like a mannequin or robot before detailing them.

I do think a mannequin could help even a little for anyone. Sometimes I use my toys for reference. My Final Fantasy 7 Tifa figure has been especially useful to me.

But I too find it interesting seeing how artists work. Occasionally I watch some artists stream their work on those video sites. It's most fun seeing how they colour, and I've learned things simply by watching artists in those streams.
