I just read this book once again.
It's one of these books you could read over and over again, it never loses its charm. The Apocalypse never was described any funnier  .

Here The Four Horsemen becomes a wild yet retarded motorbike-gang, archangel Aziraphale turns out to be more clumsy than helpful, not to mention of Mr. Crowley, Aziraphale's opposite... ah well, it's just fun (not least because of the footnotes during the book) :D .

Good Omens is "The nice and accurate prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch".

If you're out for a good laugh in your holidays then this reading would fit perfect.

Terry Pratchett is one of my all time favorite Writers. The first book of his I read was by accident. It was just something that sounded interesting and it was in a bargain bin, so I picked it up. The book was called TRUCKERS, and was book one of the NOMES trilogy. Ever since then I have been essentially addicted to anything that comes from his catalogue.

I would think he is most well known for his Diskworld series. Of the Diskworld series I think the books based around the Night Watch would be my favorite.

Neil Gaiman is the genius behind SandMan. The first work of his I was ever exposed to, altho I just knew it for the work not the author. THe author did not mean anything to me until I read this book.. GOOD OMENS.

I must admit that of all the non-diskworld books Pratchett did, this is possibly my favorite. Altho DEATH is the same character from the discworld series, that is the only connection. I too have read this book a few times, and it is one of only a few that I have done this with. Usually for me a book gets read once then dissappears into the L-Space that is my book cases.

I add my recommendation for GOOD OMENS for anyone looking for a great read. For those of you who are uneducated in the ways of Pratchett and Gaiman, this is an excellent starting point of your future fan status. :)
three and a half years.. for what?
