The Multiverse

This is another story I'm working on I posted one before this called Split Cases, let me know what you all think.

“The Multiverse”

As my victim (err future ally) sits pondering his life, I attempt to read his thoughts until the time when I can actually contact him. From what I can understand his name is Tyler. Anyway, the reason I watch him is in hopes that he will be willing to help me in exchange for my helping him. Tyler may not know it, but he has more power in him than any of us, any of this team. A Team I have assembled from across the galaxy, there are only about four of us but it will do.
My name is Archake it has other meanings but this is what it means in English. I’m a very complex being. I can do almost anything I want and over time I have grown bored. As have my friends. The only thing I cannot do is Penetrate and travel to other Universes. The other universes are the “antidotes” to our boredom. We sort of can but not without a ‘invitation’ from someone that is in a Universe. They must know who we are and invite us. Tyler is going to help me for he is the key to altering a Universe and traveling to one.
I cannot simply go down to him to ask him for help since he is near the boundaries of our Universe. Another option is contacting him. Lately his thoughts have been so similar to mine that I can almost talk to him! The other day I got a couple of words in though I think he only heard my name. This however could work out in my favor. His thoughts at the moment are so strong that I’m going to attempt to contact him again soon…..
At Tyler’s house…………..

Tyler just sat there with a blank stare on his face, lost in his deep thoughts and confusions..
“My life sucks! How can I fix this? I can’t it is impossible.” You will just have to live with your self and your life.” Tyler was about to resume reading his e-mails when something else popped into his head. "Archake" Where the heck did that come from?" "That thought just came from out of no where." "Archake, I wonder what that could be or what meaning it could have?"

Tyler stood up mumbling to him self “I need some water and air.” He quickly walked out of his room, down the stairs and into the kitchen. Grabbing a glass of water he walked out in his backyard to think.

Back in Archake’s room…………..

“Archake how is the situation?” A humanoid like creature said while entering Archake’s room.
“Shhhh! Were getting closer. Tyler is starting to get off track, and I can only get my name into his mind so far but I have done it more than once. Now I need concentration BE GONE!” I said while concentrating, as I shaped my hands into an oval and shut my eyes halfway.
“Whatever dude just don’t hurt your self.” The human said snickering as he slowly walked away.
I saw Tyler drink some of his water and his eyes squinted. This usually means he is thinking more, straining his brain to come up with something. So I tried to listen in….

Tyler thoughts: “Archake. There it is again.” “Oh screw it I have to re think my LIFE! When did it screw up let’s see? Kindergarten was perfect and nothing wrong with 1st or 2nd grade. I have no idea what happened in 3rd grade only that I did not pay attention in that year at all. 4th grade is when it all got messy, I had friends until HE came. ‘Corey Daniel came and took my friends away one by one by proving to them that I was a loser. After that everything went to hell I got made fun of on a daily basis. At first it was fine. Over time more started doing it until at least once a day. I would have an emotional breakdown in front of everyone. I would cry in school. Something did go wrong in kindergarten. I remember being put it at age 4 instead of 5. That’s right I had always been emotionally behind and even now at 17 I still am. The kids would make fun of me and I think they would figure out that I was immature and could be easily manipulated. By 5th grade I hated school and anything to do with it. Not that I did not try I did but failed at almost any assignment that was thrown at me. When 6th grade came around I had lost all hope. I was sitting alone at recess at the benches waited until class had started again and again over and over. Eventually school would end for the day. I remember one day after a streak of staying cry free; but I just broke down again after 5 kids started making fun of me. I cried and ran into the class and some of the girls that had been there consoled
me. It was SO embarrassing! After graduation I had to go to a private school since I failed mostly in elementary school. At first I did not want to go but over time I was realizing that it helped me. Private school helped me gain a couple friends. I learned all the stuff that I never did in elementary school and it caught me up to what I was suppose to know. I’m in High school and coming up on my senior year. Those friends are gone now. They live about 35-40 minutes away. The reason for this is cause the private school I went to was far away. They all lived close to it but I didn’t. Now I basically have no friends except online. I’m a Teenbaby freak who is lonely and have nothing but money. I really do not care for money. What is the point without friends to enjoy it with?!”

Tyler walked slowly back into the house when he was startled and dropped his glass, shattering it.
“Archake! There it was again. OK what are you? Show your self!”
“He has invited me to join him. AT LAST!” I said teleporting to his location.
Tyler turned around than instantly froze not believing what he was looking at. “Who are you?”
“I’m Archake. That should ring a bell Tyler. That is your name right?“ I said as Tyler shook his head slowly.
“Um what do you want?” Tyler said regaining his composure.
Tyler backed up looking a little scared and confused.
“To help you.” I said trying to comfort him.
He did not respond however his frightened look went away as he walked closer to me.
“Oh.” He said and nothing else.
“Yeah well feeling awkward?” I asked implying that I obviously wasn’t Human.
“No just feels like a Movie or something.” He said walking closer.
“Try a story.” I replied.
“Huh?”
“Never mind. So before we get on to your ‘help’ want to get to know each other?” I said in a confident manner.
“Well sure I guess.” Tyler was saying as he sat down.
“So.” I said clearing my throat in hopes some sort of conversation would spark of it. After a minute nothing was said.
“Well you’re a talkative sort.” I said to him.
“Figure that out all by your self?” Tyler said in a sarcastic manner.
“Heh well if you don’t want to talk then you don’t have to.” I said walking to his couch.
“Well sorry. This is just a little awkward.” He said stating the obvious.
“Well it isn’t for me. I guess I can understand you being awkward.”
“Ok look! What are you here to help me with?”
“Fine if you must know. Your life!” I said instantly getting to the point.
“Uhhhh what do you mean?” He asked looking really confused.
“Ok is there something wrong with your life? Anything at all?” I asked point blank starring at him.

Chapter 2
“Well maybe Archake.”
I teleported to a nearby couch along with Tyler. “Maybe hmmm. Well don’t talk about it then.” I snapped my fingers. We were then transported to his room. “You can just sit back and relax while I read your life Tyler.” I said turning his PC on.

“Hey get out of there that’s mine! What do you want on my PC anyway Archake?” He asked freaking out.

“Don’t you people document your lives?” I asked confused.
“Um No.” He said shaking his head.

“ HMP I do, very strange Tyler very strange.”

Tyler rubbed his eyes with his right hand and sat down on his bed. “I’m not telling you a thing about my life until you tell me why you want to help me!”

“OK FINE! You didn’t have to take all the fun out of it. You’re going to help me alter universes. If we can alter them then I can travel to others.” I said as his face changed to that of surprised and still.

“Why can’t you just travel to other universes by your self?” Tyler said.

“I cannot penetrate the boundaries of one universe without the help of a mortal like yourself. I’m willing to help you ‘fix’ your life by stealing or bending the boundaries of other universes to put you in one then alter your life to get started into a new one. Then you get what you want and I’m free to explore other verses and get rid of this BOREDOM!”

“Boredom hmm. Well sounds plenty simple heh. What do we do then? I mean how do we do it?” He asked finally trusting me.

“Well are you sure you want to do it right away?” I asked making sure I would get no complaints from him later on.

“Hmm that is a really good question. Can I go back whenever I want?”

“An even greater question Tyler. Yes and no, it all depends if you want to freeze time here forever you can and no one will notice anything once you return. I can simply put you back to your original age. You can also leave it running and UN-frozen, but as time goes on going back might get harder.”

“Oh well just freeze it then no harm done right Archake?”

“Sure.” I snapped my fingers and suddenly everything around us stopped, his computer things outside everything! Except us of course.

“COOL!” He said screaming in my ear practically.

“Anyway let’s get started Tyler. Now imagine what exactly you want what type of world you would like to live in, what age you want to be and anything else you can go ahead and add in.” I shaped my hands into an oval and a bright blue ball of light was forming in my hand. “Just concentrate on your thought as much as you can.” Suddenly the bright light started getting darker and formed into a small Universe it had stars but nothing else. “You must concentrate harder this does have a chance of failure you know.

“What happens if it fails?” Tyler asked getting scared.

“Just concentrate you will find out if you fail to concentrate!” I yelled at him.

Tyler’s eyes suddenly closed. The universe formed a sun after 5 minutes of waiting. “Good we have a little ways to go but it will be over with soon.” 8 minutes in stars were forming and some planets but I still did not see an ‘Earth’ like one. It took him about 20 of the longest minutes of my life for the final planet to form. “Were done!” His eyes flew open and he saw amazement onto what he was starring at.

“Did I do that with my mind?” Tyler asked very amazed.

“More or less yeah.” I said sarcastically.

“So now what?”

“Well I put you in there and you start your new life. Are you ready?”

He shook his head yes with a smile on his face and huge smile. “Good let’s go.”
He vanished at the wave of my hand into the planet that he had created. Part one of my phase was complete. I snapped my fingers, transporting me back to my ‘quarters’ and leaving his old world frozen completely.

Tyler was now in his new room in his new body, clothes and everything was new to him. He had chosen the age of 4 and one month until his 5th birthday. He chose plenty of other things for his new world but I wont spoil it for ya. Tyler looked around his new body.

“This is great! I’m freaken four again! And my voice sounds so squeaky! OO I better keep it quiet, what time is it?” He looked over at the clock and it said 1:42 AM. “It’s kind of weird that I’m not tired. After all I am in a four-year-olds body. I wonder if everything worked out right. I did ask for a new family and some friends and..” He yawned really loudly suddenly. “Ok now I’m tired. I can see in the morning which should not be far off.” Tyler snuggled into his new bed then drifted off to sleep.
