"Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles"

Postby jeffbert » 17 years ago

I actually watched a new show last night, "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," which I found all too predictable, & almost boring. I expect that I will watch the next few episodes, but hold very little hope for actually enjoying the show.

I really do not watch TV, except adult swim, & a few shows on H, Military, & Science, channels, & the old films on TCM; but I tape everything & zip through the commercials.

My brother insisted I watch the 1st Season of Heroes, and although I eventually came to like it, I was initially unimpressed by it. Now we are in the midst of the new Battlestar Galactica, which, despite having several annoying features, I find quite enjoyable. I just never check the listings for shows on the broadcast networks, I just find most TV shows too watered down to be interesting. Besides that, I get about 5 DVDs/week from Netflix, & prefer doing creative things rather than watching video all day long. Being retired is not as easy as you might think. :D

hi- do you think this is a series meant to try to get people to be wary of technology, sort of like a movie i seen where michael rennie played a cyborg sent from the future to stop a device from being used that would leave to enslavement of humans. wish i could remember the name of the movie. thanks- your friend tonigirl

This is the first I ever heard of this film, & I want to see it, even after reading a review on it:

hi- hugs- i hope the new astroboy movie will follow the anime's direction and not be changed into something different. i hope uran will play a prominent role in the movie and add a cute feminine approach as astroboy's little sister. i hope they will not make this a terminator- type movie, unless astroboy is the target and his sister uran rescues him from the dark side by a little girl's innocent love for her big brother- knowing that he would never yield to evil- then astroboy arranges a way to stop the attacks for good. that would make a good movie for girls and boys to watch. the best to everyone- hugs and please keep safe and saved please everyone- i care -your friend tonigirl
