Omega Factor Questions (for those that beat it and found most everything)

Postby sgupta » 15 years ago

Heya all,

I'm working on Omega Factor (pfew am I glad I went Normal my first playthough instead of Hard!) - best game I played in *years!* The amount of love the developers had in making this title is evident. Anyway...

I'm on the latter part of the game (I think), and I have a few questions for the vets out there (please - no specific spoilers):

1.) I'm working on meeting everyone I can and unlocking them. My question is, if I progress through the Rebirth stages (and hypothetically beat the game), and miss someone, will I be able to go back and find them? My goal is to find *everyone* and I'm a little afraid with how things are going I'll finish the game and no longer be *able* to find everyone (ie. have to start over).

2.) Is it possible to unlock every single event in the event test in a single playthrough? Or are there certain events that, once you trigger others, can't be triggerd?

I guess my main question encompassing both of the above is can I get *everything* possible in a single playthrough, and does it matter how far I push forward, or should I stick around and make absolutely sure I have everything in past stages first? (I think I'm finding most everything but there are a few I'm still working on that are elusive.)

Thank! =)

1) As far as I know, you can always unlock characters even if you "miss" them. You just have to go back in the correct level.

2) Again, as far as I know, there is no mutually exclusive events.

Be careful with the "hard" mode: I almost went insane with it, and I played it in an emulator (that is by saving/reloading, most of the time reloading aproching the last levels)

Cool cool. Then I can relax a bit and explore as I want to. ^.^

Yeah, like I said, I'm sooo lad I started on Normal. I considered Hard as I knew I wanted this game to last, but I think it might have been beyond me at least this first playthough as Normal is actually pretty crazy difficult at times! But always fun even if so! On hard, I can see it getting a bit too frustrating to stand.

Maybe after I beat it on Normal I'll consider it, but Hard is scarrry!
