BTW: I'm not sure I get the point of updated Astro looking "more Caucasian." Does that mean people of northern European descent have smaller rear ends than Asian people? Really?

Trust me, you wouldn't have liked him before. I got the Japanese version and it talks about the designs (showing how he face went through different changes such as big eyes small nose etc) and in one he had his own classic big eyelashes. He looked SCARY! o_o

Though, still I like the first prototype Astro, he looked kinda sweet.
