I just watched disk 1 of season 1; it had two pilots on it, neither one seemed familiar to me. Disk 2 has another pilot, & the 1st 2 episodes. I expect to watch it next time he comes up.

When I was a kid--I guess in my teens-- this was just about the coolest show! I remember two episodes in particular; 1st THE VENUS PROBE; this is a case similar to DAMDAM's (headless robot) in that both were meant to operate on uninhabited planets, and were out of place on earth. The VENUS PROBE was particularly dangerous because it was a fully autonomous vehicular robot meant to gather biological samples in an atmosphere of sulphuric acid gas, with an atmospheric pressure many times higher than Earth's, which made it impervious to even anti-tank guns. It had a grabber arm & a laser gun with which it was to cut pieces of rock etc & collect them for analysis. :d evil: It ran amok through the area where it landed threatening humans and animals.

THE DEATH PROBE is related to VENUS PROBE by design, but bad guys controlled it, & it was not made to endure such high atmospheric pressure, so there was no killing it by lifting to high altitudes as was the case above.

I vaguely recall the FEMBOTS episode with humanoid robots taking the place of those whom the villains abducted. Oscar Goldman, the guy in charge of the agency for which Steve Austin (The $6,000,000 man) worked. I eagerly await these episodes, & hope the subsequent seasons will be released on DVD soon!
