Pre-Cohabitation Inquisition

Postby Tetsuwan Penguin » 11 years ago

OK, this may be a weird subject, one that I thought of sitting on the 'throne'.
Did you and your significant other (Wife, Husband, Life Partner, or even just a room mate) ask each other any "important" questions before agreeing to move in with each other, to get to know what you were getting into?

I remember one of the things my new wife (at the time) asked me was if I was an 'under roller' or an 'over roller'. IOW, which way did I hang the toilet paper in the bathroom! (She is an 'over roller' and admitted would go nuts seeing it hanging the other way  ).

I am a IDGASR (you can figure out what that means :d evil :) and I would just rip open the package of toilet paper and hang it on the rack what ever way it came out of the package. Come to think of it my mother was an under roller, so I come from an under roller home. Didn't make any lasting impression on me though ....

OK, does anyone out there have any funny stories in this department to share?

 That is hilarious.

Hm, I'm not sure if I have had any sort of conversations like this yet with my partner, and I've known them for 10 years and have been with them for 7 years... However I do often tell them that they are doing things the 'hard way'

For example my partner when rinsing the sink will splash water from the faucet with their hands all along the sides of the sink instead of just grabbing the extension hose and spraying it down! They'll find a way to do something in a way that takes the maximum effort and time  I don't know where that comes from... It's caused some comedic conversations. :whistling:
