I got ALL the Astro Boy manga for 25 bucks

I scored big time.
I now have the Astro Boy volumes one and two book and I no longer need it. I think I'll have to give it to my friend.

How much did you guys pay for your Astro Boy manga? I was gonna buy the omnibus but now there's no point. Is the omnibus good? I heard the pages are too small.

If you have the older 23 volume Dark Horse collection then you have exactly the same material that is being released in the omnibus. The only difference will be the number of books as each book is over three times as thick as the old ones. AFAIK they have made no changes to the content. Of course the older books may be turning yellow as the paper wasn't of archival quality.

BTW sounds like you got a bargain as those books usually sell for around $5-12 (US) each on ebay.

Is the omnibus printed on better paper? The library DH volumes are already very yellow.

That's awesome! I got six of the volumes in Japanese on eBay for $35. Wish I got as good of a bargain as you did.

Sometimes you are lucky. The other day I almost won manga (Domu: A Child's Dream) that is easily wroth over £100 for just £34! But I was short by just £1! Bloody outrageous.

Wow, that's a steal! One time, I thought I was getting a real bargain on all 42 volumes of Dragon Ball in the original Japanese....only to find out they were actually in Chinese
