Lol, not yet. the ones in Niigata and Nishi Shibata only have drinks icecream and snacks. But once we go to Osaka and Tokyo I'm sure we'll find ones with beer, among other things, lol.
More!

My dinner the second night at a food court at a mall near our residence in Nishi Shibata. I don't know what the green drink was but I want it injected into my veins.

Here are some of my favorite pictures! These are the interior to the Japanese farm house me and 3 other girls are staying at.

The kitchen and the sliding doors into the wash room

Addition to the kitchen

The washroom! I'm not sure how many people know how the majority bathe in Japan (lol, maybe everyone?), but you sit on a stool with a movable shower head and you wash your body there. The tub is only for soaking. You leave the water for the whole family, and put a cover on it so it stays warm. You drain it at night after everyone has soaked.

Just a hallway. God I can't get over how beautiful this house is

Take your shoes off please!

Our sitting room. Lol, that's my futon in the corner

My futon!

To the left is our host and across is another girl whose staying in the house.
Lol, so here's a funny story. As I was posting these, two of the boys on this trip as well were telling a funny story to the group. Aparently they were out in the evening and like some drunk homeless guy called one of them over and just starts talking in Japanese, lol. And the boy was saying in Japanese "no no I don't understand" but the dude just kept talking. Then he handed the boy a juice box. or what the boy assumed was a juice box. It turned out to be a box of sake.... XD We're all 21 and 22 so I mean who cares? ya know? and even so the drinking age here is 20. But they don't card anywhere. They're a lot more liberal with their alcohol.
More to come!

I've had worse sleeping conditions. For example, at my Daddy's house, I have to use this small bed that I had before I got my new one, which was a year before my parents split up. Since the newer bed is at my Mom's house, I have to use the old bed. Ouch! I'm almost out growing this thing. Mr Skunk, I hope you have alot of fun on the rest of your trip. I'm so jealous. My family can only dream of going on a vacation ANYWHERE! The only thing I'v ever come close to a vacation is the annual trip to Cedar Point amusment park.
You're not a joke, you fit right in!
So shake it off, and give a grin. Don't be afraid to stand your ground! Crazy, noisy BIZARRE Town!

That house is actually one of the prettiest Japanese houses I've seen in a very, very long time. I still can't get over the fact that you actually met someone in the Yakuza, becuase I want to do that someday for some reason.
