He's smiling because he knew Pinoco was going to be mad when he told her there was going to be an operation....

Here is a new story, about Black Jack and Pinoco:

Chapter one, Pinoco is bored!

It was just another day at Black Jack’s house and Pinoco was getting bored.
“Doc?” said Pinoco, walking into Black Jack’s study.
“Mm, what is it Pinoco?” asked Black Jack looking at a medical record.
“I’m bored!” Pinoco cried, “I’ve cleaned the whole house!”
“Again?” said Black Jack, “Go play with Sharaku.”
“I don’t want to play with Sharaku!” retorted Pinoco.
“Well then, play with Largo.” replied Black Jack. Pinoco got all huffy, “Humph!” said Pinoco, walking out of the room. Black Jack chuckled. She’s so childish, thought Black Jack.
Meanwhile, Pinoco had walked out to the balcony, “Doc doesn’t understand!” Pinoco said to herself, “I’m so bored and he’s just sitting there!” She kicked a stone, and It accidentally hit Largo. Largo whined. Pinoco went over to Largo and rubbed her head, “You understand, right Largo?” Pinoco said to her dog, “I don’t have anything to do, and I’m getting bored.”
Largo barked, and licked Pinoco’s face.
“Lets go play.” said Pinoco, walking away from the house. Largo followed.
“Where should we go?” she asked Largo, “Should we go to Tom’s?” Largo barked in reply. They walked to the Café and went inside.
Inside they found Sharaku, Wato, and Oncee at a table. Pinoco and Largo went over to the table.
“Hi,” said Pinoco, “What are you all doing?”
“We’re helping Sharaku study,” replied Oncee. She and Wato looked at Sharaku, who looked like he was asleep.
“Sharaku!” yelled his sister, Wato, “She shook him hard, “Wake up!” Sharaku screamed.
Wato sighed, “Come on, lets finish this page.”
Wato, Oncee, and Sharaku went back to the work book. Pinoco looked at Largo and frowned.
“Oh, Pinoco!” called Master, the owner of Tom’s, “would you like a Pinoco Special?”
“Sure,” she mumbled, “C’mon Largo.” Pinoco sat at a bar stool and Largo laid down near the stool. Master put the Pinoco Special in front of Pinoco. Pinoco inspected the sundae and nodded in approval. She was just about to put a spoon full in her mouth, when Black Jack ran into the room.
“Pinoco!” cried Black Jack, “Why didn’t you tell me you were going to be here?!”
“Because you were busy,” she simply replied. Black Jack sighed.
“Where is Largo?” Black Jack asked. Largo walked out from under Pinoco’s stool and stood before Black Jack.
“And why didn’t you stop Pinoco from leaving?” Black Jack asked the dog. Largo whined as a reply. Black Jack sat at a stool next to Pinoco’s and Master gave him a cup of coffee.
Uh oh, thought Pinoco, he’s really annoyed!
She finished her sundae and waited for Black Jack. When he finished his coffee, he took out his wallet to pay the bill.
“Don’t worry, its on the house!” said Master.
“Thanks.” mumbled Black Jack glaring at Pinoco, who looked around nervously. Wato and Sharaku were waving good-bye to Oncee. Largo, Pinoco, and Black Jack walked to Black Jacks black car. Black Jack was silent during the ride, which made Pinoco more nervous. When they reached the house, Largo shot out of the car, leaving Pinoco to face Black Jack alone.
They went into the house and took off there shoes. Pinoco started to tip-toe away, when Black Jack stopped her.
“Do you understand that you could have gotten hurt?” he asked her in a calm voice.
Huh? Thought Pinoco, he doesn’t seem mad.
Black Jack sighed again, “Go to sleep now Pinoco,” he said to his little charge. Pinoco walked out of the room and into her room.
I wonder why he didn’t explode? Thought Pinoco. She was about to find out.

Chapter Two An operation

The next day, Pinoco woke up and started to make breakfast. Black Jack walked into the room and sat at the table. Pinoco finished making the meal and put it on the table.
“Eat up.” she said, going to her chair.
“Oh, yeah there’s going to be an operation today…” Black Jack started to say. Pinoco slowly turned around. Now I understand why he had been so calm when I went to Tom’s by myself! She thought, Ooh I’ll get you Doc!
Black Jack turned away from her and smiled.

Fixed it, Put names for the Chapters, and the story is now named, 'Pinoco gets kidnapped'. Here is the rest of Chapter two and Chapter three:

A few minutes later, Black Jack and Pinoco were ready for the operation. They started operating on a little girl.
“Scalpel.” said Black Jack
“Here,” Pinoco said, giving him the tool. He cut and stitched. Soon the operation was done.
The parents of the little girl were waiting in the waiting room.
“How is she doctor?” asked the girls Mother.
“The operation was successful.” replied Black Jack.
“Here is the money,” said the father, giving Black Jack the money, “Can we take our little girl home?”
“Yes, but let her rest for a while,” said Black Jack, pulling the stretcher the little girl was lying on out of the operating room. The people left.
Black Jack sighed, looking over at Pinoco, who had fallen asleep on a couch. Black Jack smiled at Pinoco, he went over to her and picked her up. He put her in her bed. He hugged her and leaned over to her ear, “Sweet dreams,” he whispered. Pinoco smiled in her sleep. She thought she was dreaming…
Chapter Three of Pinoco runs away

The next day, Pinoco woke up and started to make breakfast.
“I wonder where Doc is?” Pinoco said to herself. A few minutes later, when Pinoco finished breakfast, Black Jack still hadn’t shown up.
“Doc?” called Pinoco, looking around. She walked around the room and saw that Black Jack’s cape was gone. Pinoco turned red with anger.
“DOC!” She screamed. She ran to Tom’s and barged through the door and sat herself at a bar stool. Pinoco didn’t even have to ask, Master just whipped up a Pinoco special for her.
She ate the sundae with a frown. She signaled for another one. Oncee and Master just shrugged.
“I wonder what happened this time,” whispered Oncee, going back to Master. Master just shrugged and smiled, “He probably left her here and went off somewhere, you know how he is.” Oncee nodded and went back to work. Just then, Wato and Sharaku walked into the café.
“Hi, Pinoco!” called Sharaku, “What’re you doing here?” Pinoco was still mad about Black Jack, so she was still a little catty.
“I’m here to eat!” she screamed, with her mouth full of the ice cream.
“Ah, Black Jack, Eh?” whispered Wato to Master and Oncee. They nodded watching Pinoco scream at Sharaku.
“Save me, Wato!” Sharaku finally cried, running behind his sister. Wato rolled her eyes.
“Pinoco,” said Wato, turning to where Pinoco was sitting, “Why don’t you go cheek if Black Jack is back?” Pinoco thought about it.
“Ok,” she finally said, she left some money and ran out the door.
“Wow, she ate ten Pinoco specials!” remarked Oncee, “I hope she doesn’t get sick.”
“Even if she does get sick, she lives with a master surgeon.” replied Wato.

Chapter four, Pinoco is sick!

When Pinoco reached the house, she started to feel sick. She bent over, holding her stomach, crying out in pain. Just then, Black Jack’s car parked next to Pinoco, and Black Jack ran out of the car and picked Pinoco up.
“Pinoco!” he cried, “Are you all right?!” Pinoco started crying. Black Jack took her into the house for a cheek up.
A few minutes later, Black Jack was putting Pinoco in her bed. Pinoco was crying.
“Where were you Doc?” whispered Pinoco, falling asleep. Black Jack tip-toed out of Pinocos room and into his study. He sighed and looked at a medical record. It was the medical record of the little girl he had operated on. She had gotten infected, and Black Jack had rushed to do an emergency operation on her. He was looking over the medical record to find out where he went wrong.
Meanwhile Pinoco had gone out of her room to find Largo. She went out through the back door and found Largo lying on the porch.
“Largo!” she whispered to the dog, when something hit her on the head. She cried out in pain and slumped to the ground…




Chapter five, Pinoco is kidnapped!

Black Jack left his study to cheek on Pinoco, but when he went into her room, he found that she was gone.
“Pinoco!” he called out, “Where are you?” He walked around the house, but when he didn’t find Pinoco, he began to panic. He drove to Tom’s and asked if Pinoco had gone to the café, “No, she hasn’t been here,” answered Master, “Isn’t it a little late for Pinoco to come here?”
“Yeah.” said Black Jack, running out of the café, and back into his car. He drove everywhere he thought that Pinoco would go.
“Pinoco!” he yelled into the night. He went to the police to report that Pinoco was missing.
“So, Pinoco is missing, Eh?” said Torch. He sighed, “As much as I don’t want to help, I guess its my job to help you find Pinoco. Wait here.” He walked out of the room. Black Jack was worried about Pinoco. I wonder where she is? He thought.
Meanwhile Pinoco was lying in a storage room, all alone and still knocked out. When she woke up she saw a spider right in front of her face. She screamed and tried to run, but she tripped.
“Where am I?” she whispered to herself.
“I see your awake,” said a voice above her, “You’ll be staying here for the time being.” said the person, putting a blindfold over Pinocos eyes. She tried to screamed, but a gag was stuffed into her mouth. She was picked up and place on a cot…
Back at the police station, Torch had returned to the room Black Jack was waiting for him in.
“We’ll start looking for her tomorrow."announced Torch.
“Thank,” mumbled Black Jack. He left the police station and went back to his home. He couldn’t sleep, so he went to Pinocos room.
“I hope you’re alright…” he said to himself.

Wooh, starting to get intense. I LIKE IT!

Glad you like the new story. I have another idea for a fan story I want to make, It would be called 'Another Pinoco', and in it another celebrity (Ain't that weird?) goes to Black Jack, and he finds out the she (The celebrity) had the same problem as Pinocos twin, where the twin is born in the twin... So the one inside the twin talked Black Jack into taking her out too... Oh don't want to give the whole story away. After I make the rest of 'Pinoco Gets kidnapped', I'll post the new story.
Oh, yeah I made a new fan character to use as the 'other Pinoco', named Pin-Pin.

Hey, in case anyone's interested, I've got openings for short story requests on my journal. It's letter themed, so you have to pick one letter (with a word to prompt a subject) and up to four characters you'd like.

I've just set the commenting to allow non-LJ members, but please comment with your forum username (otherwise I won't know who you are, won't write it, and then everybody has to go home). I'm working on one of the requests now! It's Giant Robo-themed.

Here is chapter six of my Black Jack and Pinoco fan story:

Chapter six, a ransom note, and a stranger.

The next day, Black Jack and Torch went off to look for Pinoco. First they went to Tom’s.
“So, has Pinoco came in here recently?” quizzed Torch.
“Yes. I fact she has, you just missed her,” replied Master, grimly, “She came in here with a note, Here, let me get it.” he got a napkin and took a little piece of paper out of the cash register. He handed to Torch.
“I’ll take this back to the lab,” said Torch, “You keep Black Jack here.” he ran out to his car and sped off. Master looked at Black Jack.
Black Jack looked worried.
“Want some coffee?” he asked Black Jack.
“Sure,” he replied. Master put the coffee on the table, and Black Jack drank it quietly.
I wonder if I could sneak out… Thought Black Jack. He pretended to go to the bath room, then tip-toed out the back door.
A few minutes later, Master looked around the room, “Isn’t Black Jack back yet?” he asked. Oncee shrugged. Master went to the back room and saw that the door was open…
Meanwhile Black Jack had gone to a shady part of town. He was just looking around when someone went up to him. The man pretended to bump into him and dropped a paper on the ground.
“Sir!” Black Jack called out to the person, but the stranger had already disappeared. He opened the paper, “We have your little girl! We’ll release her for 50,000,000 yen. If you don’t have the money by Sunday, you’ll regret it! ” read Black Jack, freaking out, He looked around the town, but it seem deserted. He sneaked around the little town.
A little while later Black Jack was looking into a storage room. He gasped. Right in front of him was Pinoco, lying on a cot crying in her sleep.
“Pinoco!” he cried, running to Pinoco. He untied her. Pinoco looked up and saw him.
“Doc!” she cried, trying to get up.
“I’m going to get you out of here, ok?” he said, picking her up.
“Oh, look who just dropped in!” said a voice behind Black Jack. He turned around and saw two men at the door…
