Zidane is a champ. He headbutted the same guy whose dive put Australia out of the World Cup in 2006.
Aus loves Zidane

Karlos, in Australia you are worshipping the wrong man: the guy whose dive put you out of the world cup in 2006 was Fabio Grosso. The guy headbutted by Zidane was Marco Materazzi.
The famous web site eurosport has listed the best eleven of the cup, here they are: Diego Benaglio (Switzerland); Phillip Lahm (Germany); Yuji Nakazawa (Japan); John Mensah (Ghana); Nadir Belahdj (Algeria); Giovanni Dos Santos (Mexico); Bastian Schweinsteiger (Germany); David Villa (Spain); Diego Forlan (Uruguay); Keisuke Honda (Japan). Do you agree?

England got kicked out real quick. But then again they haven't won the cup since 1966 I have lost hope. But I do not like football that much.

Anywho Australia doesn't like the Italian team, even now we won't forgive them for that dive. Seeing them crash out of the tournament without a single win was so sweet to see.

As for the best 11, that could have Klose, Messi, Ozil, Sneijder and Iniesta in it at the very least I think.

Italy and France both went out in the group stage, both finished last in their respective groups if i'm right. Both of those countries were finalists in 2006.

ok first of all Italy is my home country. second of all, it was not "sweet to see" or anything like that. this is my opinion. idc about this stuff but i think the players in Italy's team were in the other world cup too so some of them were older than the average player. (correct me on that if i was wrong.) i just needed to say something there. :p

Sneijder

I listed only ten players, he was one of the best 11, I only forgot to put him in. While Ozil and Klose could fit in Messi and Iniesta performances were not that good.

Ma come? Sei italiano pure tu? E io che pensavo di essere l'unico nel forum!
(You're Italian too? I thought I was the only one in the whole forum!). About the average age of our players you're totally right but I add that Marcello Lippi called many players only because they were property of Juventus Fc and whose season in Serie A was a disaster.

Astro would make a very good goalie! He could fly, catch high balls, fly at hundreds of kilometres an hour, and with his 100,000 horsepower strength, after receiving the ball he could throw it into the goal at the other end!
