
Why Astroboy instead of Astro Boy?

He actually did! I forget where I read it, but he thought it was pretty cool. (If you listen to the Japanese version of the ending theme for the 80's series, the singers clearly say "Astro Boy, Astro Boy, Mighty Atomu".)
The lack of space between Astro and Boy annoys me a little, too. It reminds me of when I was eleven and going to the Spongebob Squarepants movie, and the theatre card had it as "SPONGE BOB". Or like whenever someone writes "Super Man". On the other hand, the latter examples are supposed to be together, not apart...

Anyways I can deal with astro boy being 1 word, I don't think it bothers me as much as anybody else.
