Patricia Kugler Whitely question

Hi all, I looked at the credits at the end of one astroboy dvd I have here at home and it says Patricia Kugler Whitley near the bottom, I have googled around some too but another name comes up of Billy Lou Watt. Did Billy do the voice for astro in the 80's version at all or was it all Patricia doing the voice for astro? Who is Billy Lou Watt? What version did he do - 60's black and white or the newest 2000's colour version? Ta all, gabrielk1

The late Billie Lou Watt was a woman, and she voiced Astro (and other characters) in the 60's version.
Patricia voiced him in the 80's series.

Patti is a sweetheart. She was pregnant during the pilot, and so had a newborn during the very long hours of taping the whole series.

She's a very versatile actress, but she did no other voice on the '80s series. She wanted to, but it was a director decision. She did perform in some other roles for radioplays I later wrote and directed for America's National Public Radio.
