They took her off the meds that had her paralyzed around 12. Immediately she started moving her arms and legs! Not a lot but enough to get our attention. She even held mine and my mom`s hands! She cant say anything with the breathing tube in her but she did crack her eyes open about 20 minutes ago when the doctor checked her pulse.

Hehe, when they pricked her finger to check her blood sugar, she did NOT like it. Started flailing her arms and reached up to grab the nurses arm. Of course she couldnt but we know what she was trying to do.

Let you guys know more as we go. Thank you for all your prayers!!!!

Sitting here with Jammy again. Shes still out but they got her on fewer meds now and are trying to get her to wake up. Her breathing machine is on its lowest setting so they want her to wake up and maybe take her off of it. Besides that they got her off of a lot of her meds, like her bloodpressure meds and some of the pain meds. Thats all good news!

They have also officially said that the thyroid storm is in fact what caused all this. They also said that the lady my sister saw in April who gave her a blood test should have said that this would happen because her thyroid numbers were way too high. The scale is from 1 to 8 and normal is about 1.6. When she first came in it was waaaaay past 8. Right now its about 6 so yay for progress, but we may have a little chat with the first lady, hurrrr....

Anyway, they are gonna try to wake her up again today. They are a little worried about her intestines because of the cardiac arrest but we will cross that hurdle when we get there! Until then, I will be sitting in this uncomfortable chair next to her.

....hospitals smell funny.......hurrrr......at least the food is pretty decent.

TBH, hostipals smell funny because its clean. hospitals have to be staral at least clean becuase when dealing with bacteria,blood,spit,puss,and other bodily fluids carry stuff that will do more harm then good thats about the same thing as eating a dirty fork or spoon. would you like eating of something dirty or working with something dirty? same in the hospitals. it you watch Black Jack before and after he uses his scapuls and other surgical intruments they are put in a staral liquid also they always wear gloves.

I like the smell in the hospital. I want to be a doctor one day and i'm very serious about this business. I love the human body and exploring it. people don't realize that our own machines are very much extraordinary. when you think about it, our hearts beat for us and we breath automatically. a machine is different.
