Chapter twenty three, Makoto Sensei
A few days later, Kengi Sensei and his original team, Rin, Daiki, and Ren, went to Metro city, to have a meeting with Uran and her brothers.
When they arrived at door, Ren rang the doorbell. Uran opened the door and grinned.
“Come on in, Father and Mother are out shopping. We can have our meeting in the basement, so no one will over hear our meeting.”
Kengi Sensei and his students all went into the basement, where they met Cobalt and Astro, the new teammates.
When everyone was settle down on a bunch of soft pillows, Kengi Sensei looked at Astro, Cobalt and Uran.
‘I am sorry to say this, but I have too many students in my team. Usually, there are only suppose to be three student in each team, but now I have six.” Kengi Sensei began, “I have talked this over with Lady Kameyo, the Kibomaru, the leader of our village. You are to be the students of Makoto Sensei.”
(Note: basically,
Kibo means
Hope while
Maru means Demon or Spirit. So, it means Hope demon. Or at least, I hope it could mean that…
It took a while for Uran and her brothers to finally realize what Kengi Sensei was saying.
Finally, Cobalt muttered, “The Kibomaru? Wow, nice title for your leader.”
“Cobalt.” Astro hissed, pinching him on the arm. Cobalt and Astro glared at each other.
“Ok! When can we meet Makoto Sensei?” Uran asked, jumping on Cobalt and Astro, slightly embarrassed.
“Tomorrow.” Kengi Sensei replied calmly.
Astro, Cobalt, and Uran all fell forward.
“Tomorrow?! Why didn’t you tell us sooner?!” Cobalt gasped.
Kengi Sensei looked slightly embarrassed. He scratched his wild hair and said, “Sorry. My students and I have been very busy, and we just barely were able to escape the Lady Kameyo.”
Uran just shrugged and smiled. “Mother and Father said that we can stay at the Forest of Hope village for a while, so we can be closer to our sensei. Does Makoto Sensei live in the Forest of Hope?”
“Yes, she does. And, since Makoto is a new sensei, Makoto will be training with my students. Which means that you guys are still going to train with Rin and the others.” Kengi Sensei said, “ I guess you can say that Makoto and me are ‘sharing’ you students. Sometimes Makoto will teach you and your brothers, and sometimes she will teach my students, while I teach her students.”
Uran jumped off of Cobalt and Astro and her eyes glistened in the light.
“Cool! We will have two Sensei’s!” Uran.
Rin went over to Uran and whispered in her ear, “I’m glad you are coming to the Forest of Hope village.” Rin smiled slightly, her eyes expressionless and blank.
Uran was puzzled at how Rin’s words were so cheerful, yet, her eyes were blank.
“Oh yes, I almost forgot.” Kengi Sensei said suddenly, “A few days ago, Rin was attacked. But, no one has tried to attack again. I think they may be waiting for the right time to strike. I think we should all be on guard.”
“Ok, Sensei.” his students replied.
The room was quiet for a few minutes. Daiki started to whisper into Ren’s ear. Ren nodded his head. Uran wondered what they had been whispering about.
“Now, Rin, Daiki, Ren, we have to go now.” Kengi Sensei said, breaking the silence, “See you guys tomorrow.” he added, turning to Uran and her siblings.
At that moment, a small brown dog barged into the room. He started to bark at Kengi, Daiki, Ren, and Rin.
“Oh, Jump, its alright! This is our sensei, Kengi Sensei.” Uran said, grabbing her brother Astro’s dog. She held him up to Kengi Sensei. Jump barked at him one last time, then licked his face (more like his black mask).
“Bye, we have to go now.” Kengi Sensei said a few minutes later.
“Bye!”

They next day, early in the morning, Uran and her brothers set out to the Forest of Hope village.
Half way there, they stopped at a ramen shop, for an early lunch. It was only ten o’clock, and they hoped to get to the village by twelve.
“One beef flavored ramen!” Uran, Astro, and Cobalt said at the same time.
“You got it.” said the kind ramen chef.
While the siblings waited for their ramen, Cobalt looked around in the village they had stopped in.
“Here you go, eat it while its hot.” the chef said cheerfully, a few minutes later.
Halfway through finishing his ramen, Cobalt asked, “Excuse me sir, but can you tell me what the name of this village is?”
“This is the village of Soup. And, you can call me Satoru.” the chef replied.
“Thanks for the info, Satoru Sensei.” Cobalt said, drinking the last of his ramen.
“Mm, Satoru Sensei.” Satoru mumbled, smiling. He walked over to another costumer.
“Bye, Satoru Sensei, thanks for the ramen!” Uran said, as the siblings started to take out their wallets.
“Don’t worry about the fee. I never ask new costumers to pay.” Satoru winked at the siblings.
Uran and her brothers all grinned and waved to the chef.
A few hours later, they had reached the Forest of Hope village. They went straight to a shop and asked for directions to the meeting place of Kengi Sensei.
The shop owner pointed to a forest way off. Uran and her brothers walked off, tired of carrying their backpacks that were filled to the top.
When they reached the middle of the forest, they were greeted by Rin and her teammates, and a lady.
“Is our sensei a lady?!” Cobalt gasped, his jaw dropping.
The lady wore a long black coat, a short white shirt, and long black shorts. She also wore black sandals, and grey bandages wrapped around her waist, and arms. She had leg braces and black gloves. She had blue hair, put up in a short spiky pony tail to the left side of her head, spiky bangs over her eyes, and black eyes.
“You over there!” yelled Makoto Sensei. Uran and her brothers ran over to the small group and stood in front of their new Sensei.
“So, you guys are my new students? Well, introduce yourselves!” Makoto Sensei said sternly, like a general.
“I am Uran, I am eight.” Uran said, just as Astro said, “I am Astro Boy, I am twelve.” Cobalt also said at the same time as his siblings, “I am Cobalt, I am eleven.”
Uran thought for a while, the added, “We are robots, built like humans.” Uran and her brothers all smiled nervously.
“Ok, nice to meet you. I am Makoto, your sensei.” Makoto said, “And I expect you to listen to whatever I say!”
“Now, now, Makoto! You don’t have to bee so stern to the poor kids. Loom at them, they are already afraid of you.” Kengi Sensei said. He was standing on a tree branch upside down, reading a small red book.
“Kengi Sensei!” Uran gasped, relived. She had started to wonder where he was.
Kengi Sensei jumped down from the tree branch and stood next to his students.
“Hello, you guys. I hope you all had a nice trip. You will have two days to get settle in.” Kengi Sensei said, “And then, you and your Sensei will go on your first mission. Of course, me and my team will come too.” he added, seeing the scared look on Uran and her brothers faces.
“I think you mice should take the rest of the day and tomorrow off, and rest at a apartment.” Makoto Sensei said, “Here is some more for rent.” Makoto pressed some money into Astro’s hand, since he was the oldest.
“Bye you mice.” Makoto said, jumping away from the group.
“You guys better get some rest, and unpacked.” Kengi Sensei said after Makoto Sensei had left. Or so they thought.
“Didn’t I tell them that?” Makoto Sensei said, standing on a tree branch not far away.
“Yes, Makoto Sensei!” Uran and her brothers cried, running for an apartment to live at. They yelled goodbye over their shoulders and ran before Makoto Sensei could lecture them.
Chapter Twenty Four,
The Girl From the Water
Ren pulled his shirt over his head and ran out the door of his house, where he lived alone. It was two days later, and he was going to the forest to meet his teammates and the two Sensei’s.
He ran into Daiki on the way to the forest and they both started to walk slowly towards the meeting place.
“What do you think of Makoto Sensei?” Ren asked Daiki.
“I think she is a bit like a general.” said a voice soft behind them. They turned around to find Rin walking up to them.
“Come on, lets get to the forest before Makoto yells at us.” Ren shuddered.
When they arrived at the meeting place, they saw that Uran and her sibling were just arriving. Kengi Sensei and Makoto Sensei were waiting for them.
“Come over here, you maggots!” Makoto Sensei yelled at the students.
“I can believe that she wasn’t a
Commander before this.” Ren muttered.
“Ok, lets get going. We are going to the Land of Fish.” Kengi Sensei said, “Our mission is to find a missing person. Usually, a new sensei and students would not go on such a high ranked mission, but since Me and my student are coming, we were assigned to this assignment.”
“Ok, lets hit the road!” Makoto Sensei muttered.
The group went on the long journey to the Land of Fish, where they were first suppose to meet the Sakanamaru.
(Note:
Sakana means Fish, and as I said before,
Maru means
demon or
spirit. So it probably means fish demon, or fish spirit.)
