why are woman better looking then the men? the Men in the Tezuka world have facial issues mostly noses and with black jack the scar and the woman are all perfect, i'm not complaining about the women but whats up with this picture?

A lot of things were stereotypical back then. Women were usually depicted being pretty, and still are to this day, to the point where it is pretty much 'normal' for women to look pretty. Of course, Tezuka did drew 'not-so-pretty' women before, like the fat woman from Don Dracula. And there has been 'handsome' men in Tezuka's works before, it's just he decided to make Tenma and Elefun different, that's all.

Not like I'm complaining, I find Tenma and Elefun to be good looking actually.

O'Shay would have been a charmer and less bubblely then he is now and Tenma i agree looks handsome i mean I suppose he's not mr.universe but i suppose to Hoshie, he was the man who kept her well-oiled and turned one "metaphorically" speaking.

I actually like O'Shays facial features.

And, just like Dr. Jerk said, its kinda stereotypical. All women should be pretty, its conisdered abnormal for a background woman to be not pretty, but for men they often exaggerate their features to make them "stand out".
