A bit of a problem that I have ATM

I understand how it is man, but I don't let what people say over the internet get to me. It just doesn't bother me, never has. It hasn't happened that much in Reach but every time I played Halo online I would all the time get paired up with 12 year old kids that do nothing but swear at me because they learned a new cuss word the week before and now they can't stop saying it.

Almost all those games have a mute function though and I usually mute people that aren't on my friends list or in my party. Don't let those guys ruin your experience man. I recently stopped playing Modern Warfare 2 simply because the game is broken and Black Ops is coming out in less than a month.

Well guys I found another reason not to report him. Someone sent me a link to youtube and the guy in the video (bumnumba1) was receiving death threats from some guy on youtube. These messages that I've been receiving are almost exactly the same as the ones bumnumba1 got. So I think this guy saw this video and thought it was funny and decided to send them to me for some reason.

You can do whatever you want, I told my own experience but the choice is yours.

I'm female by the way, although my nickname usually makes other posters assume I'm male.

As for the mute function, yes, that's what I'm doing, that's what I meant by "closing the chat window". I used to do it only when my opponent would start saying nonsense, but now I don't even feel like even reading the first sentence. The sad thing is that most players are well behaved so I know I'm missing something sometimes but that's it.

I never felt it affected me until like 2 months ago and I'd been playing for maybe 5 years, if not more. It's a good thing to be able to not let it affect you but I've just decided that even if it wasn't serious, I didn't even want to see that anymore. I decided I wanted to play AND be respected too. I don't care whether it's serious or not: I want respect!

That's well said Astro Forever. It doesn't matter what you're involved in whether it's with people on line such as a forum or YouTube, or whether it's with a club or organization with people face to face. If you're not respected it really hurts you and even makes you angry and frustrated.

The key word to everything is RESPECT.

Yeah. It isn't really strange at all. Princess Sapphire happens to be my favourite Tezuka character. She appears in the Time Machine episode of the 1980's Astroboy series.

I still chuckle to myself though when I think about how a couple of people thought I was a lady at TIE never-the-less.
