I agree, for example when you look at Temna's original hairstyle or O'Shay's hairstyle it works great on manga/anime, but of course it couldn't work on CGI so they changed it to this ridicolous-looking one (again, I don't mean this post of be racially offensive).

CA is a stupid shortcut for lazy, untalented, computer geeks, who can't draw art to call it art. hand drawn animation was better then Computer animation to be personally honest. the handdrawn you see hard work and devotion.

Manga and anime has that quality.

Modern anime today use 'CA'.

The proper term for what the movie had would be CGI.

but you know what i mean i know some anime now a days have some CGI but that only for small affects.

It kind of depends on the film you're making. Astro Boy. CGI? No.

i remember when movies were on Video casette and then when DVDs came out, and the beginning of CGI, although i didn't care about CGI, some thing are good with CGI, some anime doesn't do well with CGI and Astro boy is one of them. some anime infact all anime wasn't meant for CGI the point if the design was for it to look unique not eek

I've seen some really good CGI effects for backgrounds and machines used in anime before.

Soul Eater and 2008's Yattaman are good examples.
