Was Shunsaku Ban stirring, or was it just his imagination? O'Shay pondered over the question. After all, he was so tired he wouldn't be suprised if he was having hallucinations.

From underneath his hand, Tenma's eye briefly glanced over to Black Jack as he watched him return to his business. Rubbing his head, he pondered whether he should go along with the doctor's suggestion...

But looking over at the pace maker, Tenma reminded himself that he should still be watching it. The drama may have been over, but Shunsaku Ban's health was more important than his own right now.

But then, he had also noticed Astro Boy in the corner of his eye and turned his head towards him, starring at him awkwardly. Tenma couldn't remember how long it has been since he and Astro had parted their ways as father and son. That boy was just distracting, it entranced Tenma. But realizing that he had been starring for long enough, he quickly looked back at the screens, and then towards Shunsaku Ban.

'Wake up...' Tenma urged in his thoughts.

I sat in mychair, tired from the surgery but still having enough energy to be awake.I knew that the others were tired and exhausted but first time assistants are easily tired out just by a few hours in . Tenma and O'Shay i knew helped a great deal and Astro's and Cora's help was soso . but i had something on my mind that will surprise for the lot of them.

O'Shay was feeling a strange sensation of hunger, annoyance, worrying, happiness and sheer joy. He was glad that this is all over, worried about Daddy Walrus, annoyed about the high price and was hungry too.

Black Jack also feeling hungry walked into the kitchen and saw the pot on the stove, he walked towards the pot and felt hot, he then turned ans saw a note on the fridge.

Doc,
on the stove is a beef and vegetable stew which i've made for you, i've made it larger in case you have guests over i'll be back in the mid morning after breakfast becuase Shiraku's sister told me that he has homework so, the rice in the fridge in a container and for dessert, stawberry creame angel cake, enjoy, don't leave the dishes in the sink with no water,Doc!

i smiled and took out the rice and heated that in the microwave and took out the number of bowls and served.

"IF ANY OF YOU ARE HUNGRY,PLEASE,COME AND EAT" I called out to my guests

O'Shay was too hungry to mind his table manners, he just gulped it down like a person tht hasn't eaten for days. He was annoyed at the rice, his nose was in the way, so he plunged into the cake and made a HUGE mess with cake dripping from his schnoz. He then ate all the beef. Everyone else didn't even start yet, and they didn't look too happy.

I saw O'Shay eat like a pig and puts in to mind of an actual elephant

"O'Shay, are you sure that you own a set of teeth or does your stomach not know you have teeth? Eating like that you might as well bite your tongue off" I told him

I waited for the others to join.

Tenma looked up from where he sat, but before he had time to react, O'Shay had rushed passed him and already went to serve himself, making a lot of noise in the process. Tenma sighed in annoyance, and the slurping was only making him feel more unwell.

"I need fresh air..." Tenma quietly uttered to himself. But he didn't really wanted to leave the monitor, and would prefer that he kept to himself anyhow.

O'Shay looked at the mess he made of food. "Uh...sorry" he muttered, then fell silent. At least his stomach wasn't grumbling any more.

Looking behind me and seeing four full bowls i hide them in the oven and left the kitchen to the clinic. there i saw Tenma by the machines looking rather down, i walked and said.

"Tenma, your behavior is rather ridiculous, needing solitude will not help the pateint nor will it help with your pain" I told him

"why do you still cling to your losses? it won't bring back your wife or your son or help heal the scar, i'll tell that" I told him

[Dr. Jerk]

Tenma rose his gaze, no longer surprised of anything, his eyes had squinted back until finally, he stood up and took off his surgical mask which he had forgotten to do so earlier.

"I could ask you something. How do you know me? How do you know nearly everyone here? We've never been acquainted before until now."

"My business is none of yours." He chided. "And really, if know so much about me, then you would also know that I have gotten used to being a loner, and would prefer it be kept like that."
