Epsilon caught sight of this from the other room, and gestured to Astro to come over.

With a broad, knowing smile and wink she murmured, "Looks like you have little sister! Congratulations!"

All sense of previous confusion had been completely wiped away when the little girl had suddenly darted towards Tenma, making him trip onto the ground as she held his face closer to hers. Tenma's face was literally frozen still with enormous, startled eyes and his teeth clamped together shut, caught completely off guard. Though Tenma was stronger than her as an adult, he didn't move.

He didn't even try to move when he saw tears, or when she had finished shouting at him. Rather, yet another short pause had followed.

"...Let go of me..." Tenma simply said.

He tried to sit back up. "And no, a robot cannot replace a human being. Nothing can. I had to learn that the hard way."

There was another pause.

His arms then suddenly grasped around the child into a hug as he pulled her closer, allowing her head to rest onto his chest. "And I would never want anything like that to happen to anyone..."

He thought of Tobio and began to sob. "Never again... to anyone..."

I felt his arms around me and i felt his chest, then i though of how mom would have felt when she hugged him, how strong he was and yet gentle,then i finally thought to myself that for once my wish was granted, i would have a father to hug me,talk to me,to kiss me good night, and love me. i wrapped my arms around his neck as he hugged back and i cried.

"Otoosan,watashi wa anata o ai****e imasu /i love you,father/" i whispered

"Otoosan,kokoro kara anata o ai****e imasu /i love you very much,father/,
anata wa chichi to watashi ishi anata o ai****e imasu,ni kamawazu /are you my father and I will love you, regardless/ " I told him

I cried more tears then i have ever cried. I was hugging him as tighly as my arms would allow me to.

I saw walked out the room and saw Tenma and Tenshi hugging each other on the floor and Tenshi crying floods and speaking to him in Japanese, a language and words i'd never thought i'd never hear after Hoshie. I turned my attention to the Lawyer.

"I think he'll take her" I whispered to her

"You don't know that, until he says and signs words are like puffs of air" She replied

"How about we leave the two alone" she suggested

He had not stirred as she hugged him back and whispered into his ear. He couldn't remember how long it had last been since he had heard such words from Tobio, or Hoshie. And hearing them had pained his memories more, making his eyes shed more tears until they ceased into sniffling, for he knew that he had to control himself, albeit it was hard.

He looked up when he heard Dr. Black Jack and the lawyer talking to each other, and he looked back down at Tenshi, still hugging him tightly. He had sadly frowned as he gently rubbed her head. Admittedly, he still believed that he couldn't really take her in, regardless of what she or anyone else had said just now. Not to mention that everything was still happening too fast.

He turned around and silently looked at Astro Boy, Epsilon and Shunsaku Ban (and possibly O'Shay, if he's still in the room), as if asking them for their support. Because as of now, Tenma felt that he really needed it.

Tenma carefully stood up, with the light Tenshi still in his arms, and he looked over to the conversing two.

"If I must sign something, then so be it. I don't think Tenshi, nor I, would approve of anyone else as her parent and caretaker." He said to them.

Epsilon beamed joyfully and actually flew up into the air several feet in expressing her delight.

"Dr. O'Shay!!," she cried, "Stop talking about your nose, and get over here!! We've got a reunited family to celebrate!"

Then she gave Dr. Black Jack a nod and a smile -- things looked very promising.

"Of course, Dr. Tenma," she said, "You know I'm always available to help with anything you might need: babysitting, shopping, storytelling..."

She caught a mixed message coming off of Tenma. Gratitude, yes, but also a fierce privacy. To her senses, this was a good sign, and she smiled, signaling her understanding.

Hearing the words out if his mouth was shear music to my ears and an answer to my prayers. I was going home with my daddy, my parent, my Otoosan, who will love me and cherish me. I hugged him further and said

"Otoosan,doomo arigatoo gozaimasu" I said and kissed on the cheek
"doomo arigatoo gozashima****a" i cried and said.

"Alright, Mrs.Michi the papers if you please" the woman asked and walked back into the room.

after Michi and the Lawyer went into the room, Black Jack went to his room to get something. He and I were alone in the room smiling.

"Can i call you, Otoosan,now? I asked him

"Tenma, i have something for you and Tenshi to see, something of value to the both" Black Jack walked out of his room with a cardboard box in his hands.

I turned and said

"I'm sorry for making you fall on the floor " I blushed and appilogized

"Now that i'm with you can i still do some more projects and exsperiments? I asked

ain't she? but we have to see what Jerk think and her name literally mean "Angel" "Ten" refers to something heavenly or godly "shi" refers to a being or person

Hearing Epsilon cheer out and fly around the room was actually a bit irritating to Tenma, especially since he was not one used to celebrations and the like. Luckily, the short glare he had given her was enough. Although he still didn't like the idea of everyone gathering around, even though it was a given.

He was just so exhausted from today... but he couldn't help but crack a tiny smile as Tenshi squirmed around in his arms with excitement. She was getting a little heavy now, so he had gently placed her back down as Michi and the lawyer left to retrieve the papers that Tenma was to sign.

"Can i call you, Otoosan,now? I asked him

Tenma lightly smiled again. "Of course. You may call me whatever."

"Tenma, i have something for you and Tenshi to see, something of value to the both" Black Jack walked out of his room with a cardboard box in his hands.

Tenma looked up, and his smile had slightly faded. 'Oh no...' Tenma thought to himself tiredly. 'What could it be this time?...'

"I'm sorry for making you fall on the floor " I blushed and appilogized

"Now that i'm with you can i still do some more projects and exsperiments? I asked

He looked back down as Black Jack had left to get the box. He was still tired, but his face was lightened up by her presence. He knelt down to her.

"I've been in worse situations before, I'm fine." He reassured her.

He stroked his goatee again, eying her curiously. "Experiments, like what kind?"

Tobio was once a bright child too, and did some works on his own. And while Tenma was proud of him, it had partially been the cause of his loss, something which Tenma had feared.

"...What kind?..." He asked, a bit concerned.

"ones that you and I can conjoin our intellectual talents with engenius and enlighting inginuity, Paige and Bolt are one of my projects, and I have a dozen whole notebooks on idea's that i've confinded in and have yet to conduct, non explosive i'm smart enough not to try and kill myself and i think that is that very last thing on your list" I told and assured him with my tone and gesture

"for instance i was trying to find a efficiant way of using eviormental outputs to be converted into energy without using electrodes and electrical input, for instance physics tell us that hotter is faster colder is slower but using that when it gets cold it will use that coldness to energize itself becuase in space its very cold and the heat only comes from stars so..."

"Tenshi, Tenma in here please" the Lawyer called

"Ok" I answered and held my daddys hand as we walked into the room and smiled then i asked

"Mrs.Jennifer, can we wait until the morning? i think by then we'll all be awake, most of us, please" I suggested and flashed my eyes

She looked at her watch and it was almost midnight and she smiled and said.

"Alright, i'll be back here at eight, the papers put them where they are safe" She told Black Jack

"I know where" he told her

We watched her put up the papers in her brief case and coat and bid us good night. Michi turned to me and my daddy.

"Thank you, Tenma, this means more to me then you see right now" She said while crying tears and smiling

"Good night, Tenma" she bid him
then she turned to me and said.

"Good night,Tenshi" she told me

"Good night, Aunt Michi" I smiled and waved good bye

After they left, I saw Black Jack Sensei who appeared to be in a better mood then he was ealier.

"I have you two in the guests bedroom for the night" He told us

"Oh, i didn't get Jajama's" I remembered

"Pinoko wouln't mind you barrowing her night clothes and Tenma would borrow a pateints clothing for tonight" he said

"where is the bathroom? I asked

"down the hall to the left" he answered

"I'll be in my study, just call if something happens" he told us and left to his study.

I turned and saw my dad and said.

"I granted a wish for you, Otoosan" I smiled

Tenma still wasn't very sure of Tenshi working on such experiments. She was only three years old after all, and while yes she certainly showed an astonishing, almost-unbelievable intelligence for someone her age, Tenma still wasn't all that convinced. The dogs however were a little impressive, but he believed that she may have only helped a little with them and that someone else must have built them. Yes, that was probably it...

He also didn't really wanted pets around either, but they were her's so may as well keep them.

The others had soon left for the night, choosing that the papers be done tomorrow. Tenma was a little grateful for this as he would be more awake tomorrow, but in the same light, he would rather get them done and over with now.

He also wasn't too thrilled when they had suggested the notion of staying for the night here, in a place semi-full of strangers. Rather than going along with this, Tenma had sighed and sat on a nearby chair. He just wanted to go home.

Then remembered that he would have to be awake bright and early for work at the Ministry of Science tomorrow, he cussed under his breath at this.

Then noticed that Tenshi, his new daughter was granting him a wish of some sort, he was too tired to really catch all of that. Tenma nodded with a light smile.
