Cybotron, do you agree that that flying saucer is very similar to, if not modeled upon the Invaders' saucer. Or, at least the AURORA model kit of it? AprilSeven, do you think so, too? Or is this just a happy coincidence?

Oh I DEFINITELY think it's intentional -- he's copied it right down to the "bumps" underneath! In fact, when I saw that panel in Pluto, I thought -- "that flying saucer doesn't look like it "fits" somehow. It's drawn like something out of the 50's." So I was correct in my thinking!

I don't remember The Invaders, though. My first sci-fi TV show was Men in Space (1959-1960 -- so it was before Astro Boy). And of course at school we'd all gather to watch the early space flights (but I'm off topic -- sorry!). I'm going to check out The Invaders, looks cool, in a Lost in Space kind of way.

Did they make it up or copy it? But the Invaders is from the Spy education times of the 60's and 70's....
Now this proves that pluto is real Sci-Fi. Astro would really love that toy.

I don't want to watch it, it's going to be a spoiler for me since i haven't read the entire series yet. I saw a little bit of it and it did nail Atom's part and the music was pretty good.
