Movie discussion: Fight Club

Well guys, I saw Fight Club again recently. This is not an animated film and this is one of my personal favorites.

Now Fight Club is not about fighting in general but it is involved in the plot of this movie. This is a weird movie I will admit but it is very good.

The movie stars Edward Norton and Brad Pitt. I will try my best to tell the plot without giving away too much information and I will post a link to a trailer for this film.

Edward Norton is the protagonist and his character's name is never given. He is an insomniac office worker who works for a major car company. In the begging he goes to support groups for Cancer patients to help him sleep but is interrupted. During a trip for his job he meets a man named Tyler Durden on a plane who is played by Brad Pitt. For the rest of the story, basically they become friends and everything goes completely crazy, see for yourself.

It's really hard to describe the plot of this movie without ruining it. Over all I do think it is worth checking out, it is a good movie.

It's a very good movie and Edward Norton gives an amazing performance. He has a particular scene that I still fondly remember as a hilarious highlight of the film and a unique show-off of his skills.

Personally though, I just can't agree with the morals in the film about giving up all materialism and living a life of instincts. I guess that's just kind of the exact opposite of who I am. Amazing film though, I agree.

Yea, I can understand people not agreeing with the morals of the movie. But I've never seen anything quite like this movie and it's very unique; I just recently found out that this movie was an adaption of a novel.

It's a real shame that I don't see movies this good as often anymore.

I saw it a few years ago, I liked it too. This one needs to be seen twice to be fully understood though, because of the way it ends. There is similitudes with "the sixth sense" as this one needs to be seen twice too.

Speaking about good movies, "Memento" is a good one too, even more original. Err... I think this one is good to be seen twice too Yeah, it seems I like movies requiring two seeings

Memento really is great. I also recommend The Prestige from the same director. He made Inception recently which I seem to be the only one who was disappointed by it. Seemed too much like a typical Hollywood movie with too many gun fights.

Also, try Jacob's Ladder. A Vietnam war veteran starts seeing demons from Hell...
