Let's try to ignore off-topic posts, otherwise it only derails it even more.
If anyone wants to take a look at Illumination's mixing of CGI and Live-Action, they've revealed their poster for their next feature "Hop" a few days ago, and it looks pretty impressive (for a comedy movie). I can imagine that the robotic CGI that they'll want for Pluto could be quite impressive as well.

It does look pretty impressive, and actually now that I think about it I think that the Pluto movie has a pretty good chance of being a good movie. I was thinking about I, Robot and Terminator and it kind of made me change my mind, along with seeing how good modern animation and live-action really is.
