Want to get a new movie maker program, help!

I'd like to mention that there's currently a free trial of Sony Vegas 10 out right now, if you don't know if you have enough money for the full program. I'm using the trial right now for an AMV, and the things I've been able to do with it are astounding. (Beware of it rendering fairly large files, though.)

I'm goona get the sony vegas 9 than 10. the new one's supposed to have animation properties and I don't want that. Besides it's insanely cheaper to get 9 XD

@Astronommical Girl go for it, I've used upgraded effects on movie maker but sony vegas should be the best out of them. =3

does movie makr coplain about your video card, if you can play movies in wmp and wach dvds then movie maker should run, I am confused about that.

I can watch movies from DVDs and using Windows Media player but not make AMVs
