Who wants to go on an invasion?

Ladies, gents, I'd like to propose an invasion. (I don't think advertising is against the forum boards, if it is, I apologize.)

First of all, allow me to explain the target. I belong to a forum community (which used to be three big forum communities) that played Mafia, sometimes called Werewolf or Assassin, a kind of game where you are aligned into (usually) two factions (The Town or The Mafia) whose goal is to eliminate the opposing faction for victory.

Today, Mafia is commonly played on Facebook as small games/rounds. The forum community I come from, which has recently been merged into a forum site called "Vendetta Strata", actually plays more complex and creative rounds. That is to say, we have our very own rules and metagame rules (we call it the M.A.M.A.) which we have developed for roughly 3 or 4 years. To say the least, it's big, and we take the Mafia game very seriously. (Although we still like to have laughs and fun, we're not THAT serious...) We also like to theme our rounds, sometimes after movies or games, with special roles as well for added gameplay.

We just recently merged into one forum community after the other three were experiencing some inactivity problems. We're in a better spot now. But in celebration of the merge and to possibly introduce the game to more folks, I'd like to propose this invasion.

How so? Well I originally got this idea from this one forum that had a similar invasion, and also because of the username I go by on Vendetta. While I flaunt Tenma more in my icon and sig here, I'm actually more obsessed over Dr. Ochanomizu, and his name is my username and his image is my icon on Vendetta. What I mean to say is,

Our invasion could be the lot of us going by the names of either AB or Tezuka characters (probably better if it's AB characters, more recognizable), and join the forums as such. Maybe even feature them in our icons and signatures, or act like said characters.

But in doing so, you should also try to be involved in the other forum, even if that means lurking in the other boards that aren't dedicated to the Mafia boards. I personally think this would be fun and hilarious, and be a big surprise to the others.

Before we can start however, I need several people willing to be interested to be involved in our little invasion. You'll also have to claim a character to name yourself after them. This means, one character per person. (I don't want a Dr. Tenma AND a Dr. Boynton for instance, they're the same person.) Once we have enough, I'll send everyone a link to the forum by PM and then we can start.

Right, if you have any questions about the game or site, feel free to ask. So, who's interested or is this a dead cause?

wow...picking a character will be kinda difficult becuase what kind of world would it be?

What do you mean by world? I already explained that people can be any character from AB or Tezuka's works, preferably AB since it would be more recognizable. I'm pretty much the only Atom fan on Vendetta right now.

i've read the link and it sounds like an advanced form of Role Play
