The little 50 page manga books that I just bought are the same height & width as the DH, but while DH generally has a 4 row, 3 column format for the panels, the little books have a 3 row, 2 column one; thus, while the pages are the same size, the images are larger.

I've seen the 2003 manga on eBay pretty frequently, although get ready to pay up to $20 a book.

With shipping, my ended up running me about $60. Took it a month to get here, too.

On topic: I hate having to squint when I read Astro Boy. The actual books are smaller than regular manga. The DH print reminds me of the books published by Broccoli. (I can never open those without fear of breaking the spine. Shame, really - I enjoyed Juvenile Orion...)

It wouldn't have killed them to make 'em a bit bigger.
