First time hearing Boy's Heart almost made me cry. Maybe it did once, but I was also suffering from depression at the time. Hearing the Korean Boy's Heart also made me feel somewhat the same way.
...And the ending of Astro Boy: Omega Factor almost brought tears, but it didn't.
I guess I'm just not the kind of person to cry over episodes or songs.

There are a bunch of things that made me sad:
The end of omega factor (sad)
In the '80s series: Astro loses Nikki(kinda sad)
In the '03 series: Both subbed and dubbed episode 50(pretty sad)
In the '09 movie: I was sad that it wasn't better.
In the Pluto manga: When Atom dies, when O'shay trys fixing the robot dog, when other robots died except for North No. 2
These made me sad, but I never cried

Ohhh man....he can get to me like no other fictional character, but here are my biggies:
1. (1960's) When Tenma (Boynton) signs him away to the circus, and he's pleading with his father.
2. (1960's) When Dr. Elefun presumes Astro is gone forever and he places his body in the Robot Hall of Fame, then cries his heart out.
3. (1980's) When Hamegg stuffs the poor little guy in that trunk and he's calling weakly for his dad, and meanwhile Tenma (Boynton) realizes what a JERK
he's been and is scrambling all over the boat trying to find his son. :d oh:
4. 1980's - Nikki and Astro -- need I say more?
hmy:
5. 2003 - When he cries out in utter frustration at the robot/human conflict: "oh, when are we going to stop fighting" or something like that.
6. 2003 - The "I forgive you" scene; and Tenma "giving" Astro to O'Shay ("we both know you've always been a better father...")
7. 2003 - Final episode, Astro sitting, reflecting on how peace has been achieved, and his friends call him . . . he turns, wiping away his tears OMG --
8. Movie - the whole deactivation/reactivation scene. OMG my husband grabbed my hand in the theater, we were BOTH tearing up!!
I don't play any games, but can you share what it is that happens at the end that is so emotionally charged?

I was emotionally moved by the end of Omega Factor because I thought they were both going to die, and it seemed befitting to have it with Astro flying into the sun like he had in the 1960 anime.
Haha aaaw I can imagine that! x3

Yeah but Omega factor is a good game, it's worth buying the gameboy advance to play it. =3
And aw honey
be sure to bake him some cookies.
Oh and another thing I find sad is Tobio's death in all versions...except B&W some reason that was just funny! XD I mean his cap half off while he was driving, Tobio looked drunk!
