I couldn't find a topic on this, so I decided to start a new one.
I have been watching quite a few Miyazaki films this Christmas break, and I'm curious about your favorites and why you like them.

From my memory, I think I've only ever watched Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away, and Laputa: Castle in the Sky.
And as much as I love fantasy and sci-fi elements, I think it was actually Kiki that was my favorite. There's just really something about its simplicity that is so appealing and seemingly makes it stand out from the other two I've seen. Maybe it was also the character designs, or the setting...
Been dying to see Totoro too...

My favorite is Kiki's Delivery Service because I love stories about magic, and that movie was just really sweet. I also like Spirited Away because it was very exciting. I really want to see the new movie Ponyo. It looks pretty good.
You're not a joke, you fit right in!
So shake it off, and give a grin. Don't be afraid to stand your ground! Crazy, noisy BIZARRE Town!

My favorite Studio Ghibli films would be Spirited Away and Ponyo. Other than those two I've only seen Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Howl's Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke which I liked in that order.
My absolutely favorite Miyazaki film though, came before Studio Ghibli, and it is The Castle of Gagliostro. Such pure fun and delightful hilarity.
