English Tezuka Manga going out of print ...

So here is the thing when i really became a tezuka hardcore fan wich happened about a year ago i was like i will get the stuff slowly and that will do like is the case with the very few English DVD releases (except for the Black Jack movie and Ova series maybe) but that's seems not the thing to do with english tezuka's mangas !!!

If you like me wanna have them all you better spend most of your money on it while you still can !!!
To explain it better i was just surching on the web for tezuka mangas and when i really went deep into it i discovered that so much non vertical stuff was just so hard to find and some where like nowhere to find.

I give here a list of non vertical tezuka mangas that just starting to get verry hard to find.


-Adolf Volume 1 (bought used at a verry high price at Amazon.com

As well As Adolf Volume 5 (you still an get it cheap used or still new but only at retailers from amazon.com


-Phoenix Volume 1 (orderd from bestbuyanime.com) the best example of a Tezuka manga that just should still have been easy avalible but many websites report it as either no longer avalible or temporary out of stock don't know the date that this item will be back the only website that still has it in stock is bestbuyanime.com the rest might also be disappearing soon volume 4 en 10 are also not becoming easy to find.

-Swallowing The Earth Orded from akadot retail Still easy to gat at the manufactors website but already becoming verry hard to find from from other places.

-Metropolis (orded at bestbuyanime.com) Used it still largely out there but new almost nowhere to be found.

-Princess Knight (Early 2000 release) Aperandly 6 volumes where released but only 2 of them get offered at eiher a verry high price from Amazon or sometimes pop up on ebay.

-Crime and Punishment (early 1990 english Version) Nowhere to be found exapt for Amazon japan where you have to use some special website that would ship it to you because no seller ships outside Japan kinda ridicilous because it's a english version.

Vertical always releases more versions from a manga series so they might on purpose let go manga out of print to release them in a difrent format in 2 parts for example like with apallo's song in order to get more money out of it.

-Astro Boy (dark horse manga release) Will most likely go nowhere any time soon but still there are many websites already offering less volumes than they once had.

Well volume 2,3 and 4 are still to get at many places but that doesn't count for 1 and 5.
I had to pay 50 Dollars to get Volume 1

Technically Adolf is already out of print. It has been for a long time as I understand according to information on Tezuka in English website.

You must have found second hand or barely used copies in fair condition at those bookstores.
