Granted the 2009 movie wasn't that good... But Astro Boy has a better and more complex story, better characters and better morals. Pokemon does not have these. Pokemon fan or not, how is it possible that you look at Astro Boy and say Pokemon is more compelling? This just proves that the complexity of Astro boy is something that you can't even manage to grasp. Also, Astro has been around since the 60s. If it weren't for Astro Boy and Tezuka, Pokemon might not have even come into existence
