I've read that book!! :w00t: It was in Year 5 or 6 - we studied that book as a class, and afterwards some kids didn't "get" the book - they thought it just a story about animals attempting to run the farm. It was great - I enjoyed it :p

(And I just realised the new smiley - :tezuka: Tezuka!)

What was your opinion on the book and it's concept?

It was kind of interesting the way George Orwell interpreted communism in "animalism" - and how they overthrew the owner, Mr. Jones, before the pigs took control with their so-called "intelligence". And it pleases the smaller kids more than another boring lecture on history, too... many of my classmates read that book when they were small.

...but I never read it 'til then :p

Why so young? That's rather redundant  but for the robotic revolution?

I read this, but more than a few years ago, so I might unintentionally merge concepts of 1984 into my analysis. The :hyo: s assumed leadership, as they were the most intelligent, as I recall. I think that if there ever could be a robot revolution, the robots would by necessity have all the intellectual qualities necessary to divide themselves into classes. They might accept their stations in life based upon their designs; that is, industrial robots Vs. humanoid, WATSON, HAL 9000, MOTHER, COLOSSUS, etc. BTW, I understand that COLOSSUS THE FORBIN PROJECT is planned for remake.

There was an Asimov short story about some robots who, after thinking about it, determined that THEY were human, & proceeded to take over. :whistling:
