Actually, if 4kids bought the rights, there wouldn't be much to cut. The newer series is already aimed at a general audience and shows nearly nothing in operations or just passes straight over them. Anyway, if this were to happen, I would still be very glad since when watching it, I kept thinking how lucky Japanese kids are to get cartoons with such intricate stories and wonderful morals and in America we get pure crap by comparison. Cuts suck but lots of people would still tell you that the Canadian dubs for Shin Tetsuwan Atom kept a lot of the heart that made it become a nostalgia classic.

Back in 7th grade, I heard my friend Eric describe a similar thing he'd pulled off with his sister. He went into the dining room, dimmed the lights, covered the doorway with plastic wrap and started screaming for his sister's help. She rushed to the doorway, and almost bounced off the plastic wrap. I always liked this idea a bit more, since it's not as...messy.
