Well, even though Astro's birthday isn't until tomorrow for me... I did make a video showing every Astro Boy television series over the years.

BUUUUT..... We all know that YouTube is just truly and utterly crap when it comes to copyrighted music. If anyone knows anywhere else I could post this "AMV'ish" video, or how to resolve this please let me know. When I upload the video it disables the audio and asks me to audioswap it with something from their "allowed list." Words cannot describe how much I hate YouTube.

I apologize for going off-topic but I just felt this need to b*tch. Other than that.

Happy Birthday Astro, if any more future adaptations are made, let them be good. Tezuka was a brilliant man who made a brilliant series, with brilliant characters.

You can host it at some download site, and have people download it.

But I guess that isn't very practical.

My hubby and I made my "greeting card" and siggy for this special day together. He wanted to put in the fireworks and and big honkin' type (I think he wanted to make the "60" big 'cause that's HIS age too, and looking at wittle Astro makes him feel younger!!) :p BTW I made a screen cap of Astro from the 60's and colorized him (that's why he's got those "Disney" eyes!!) :wub:

This is also my first anniversary as a member of Astroboy Online and I also want to say how much I've enjoyed the past year and getting to know so many of you out there around the world! You're an amazing, creative, funny, supportive and inspiring bunch of people.

So a note to all you "lurkers" out there -- come on in and join the party!!! :D
