I did check to see that this was indeed already mentioned in an earlier thread, & so it was.
Anyway, though I find South park is often very offensive, it is fairly unbiased, covering topics from what seems a one-sided view in the beginning, & then at the end, somebody makes a statement that peels away the apparent bias.
Yes, it does treat religion in the same way, certainly not from the viewpoint of believers in any of them; but as they all are equally subjective, this make sense.
In the one about atheists 500 years in the future when religion had become a thing of the past, they were warring over whose ideas about atheism were 'correct.'

In the end, somebody (I think R Dawkins) says something about some people being able to accept atheism & others needing religion. It was not an insult to either group, just an acknowledgement that people were different.
In comparison, Fox's cartoons seem to have a very distinct bias. I would specify which, but that might spark an argument over politics. But the point is, South park is offensive, but about as unbiased as it can be, given the topics it covers.

I only started watching it a few months ago, when I tired of Adult Swim repeats of repeats that I watch before beddy-bye time, as I find that laughter helps me sleep.
