Yes, at long last I have acquired THE Astro Boy movie item. The Hot Toys Astro Boy action figure! I got it at Anime Boston a couple of weeks ago :cool:

Awww he's GREAT -- but tell me, if you DO get to attach the flaming feet, will his "holder" suspend him, so he looks like he's flying? Would be kinda hard to balance on those flames!!

I'd also like his eyelids to close

For some reason I was sure they could be when I saw the picture. My first thought was that I could put him into my Christmas tree! :w00t: :santa: But then I noticed that the toy cost 150$, and thought it would be one expensive Christmas tree! :sick:

Thanks for sharing, Dragonrider, it definitely is a nice collector's item! I don't buy much stuff but this one looks great and I must admit I am slightly envious! ;)

That is a definite collector's item and it looks far better than any of the 09 figures. All the other 09 movie toys never got his face right.

You should use that figure more for your comics. I hope that thing isn't too easy to break, that's the problem I have toys is I eventually break them. Not intentionally of course.
