When Atom was first advertised to the world a lot of people fell in love with him.
But I think I did more than anyone.
He was a miracle child. A child of science. I loved him and his ways of defending the world. Plus he was darn cute.
When Atlas, the other child of science, came into existence and started hating on the world a lot of people started to feel worried that Atom would do the same.
Not me. If anything Atlas' attack on mankind just intensified my love of Atom, and the fact that he could've turned on the world but didn't.
However, a lot of other people had just simply become scared of him. Scared to the point of hatred.
I hadn't heard about Atom's unexplained and sudden death until two days after it happened.
Apparently someone had decided Atom needed to be altered to withstand great amounts of heat and cold, and the power had 'gone out' in the plant where they were treating him, during the progress. Alterations like this were very dangerous, and required great amounts of intense electricity to keep the machine from losing all memory data and more.
I was horror-stricken. I wouldn't eat anything or leave the house for a week. By then everyone seemed satisfied that Atom was dead. I was worse off than ever.
Eventually I looked up who had brought Atom to life. A man named Doctor Tenma. No one liked him either.
I contacted him over a wireless network. I asked him pleadingly if he could bring Atom back to life. First he asked who I was and where I lived and how old I was, and I told him, but after that he never responded.

You know that thing? Stress is related to 99% of all illnesses?
A few days after I had contacted Tenma I started having stomach pains. When my mom finally forced me to leave the house to go the hospital I was diagnosed with ulcers.
At first the doctor assigned medication and said I was going to be fine, but it just got worse.
I was distraught. I was sad. I was angry. But I didn't want to die!
They decided to do an operation on me to find out exactly what was going wrong, but halfway through the operation I died.
Just like Atom.

Meh, I'll probably finish it later but not get 'round to posting it untill...
