Yesterday I feared for my stuff because there were tornado conditions just 30 miles West, & the local TV station even preempted both Wheel & Jeopardy to cover the developing situation. :cry: I was beginning to sweat, as I realized that my stuff would be blown all over town. :lol:

I'm glad you were safe. Things are not going too well in North America this spring. :eek:

I must admit that sometimes I wonder what I would take with me if I had to leave my house in a hurry (besides the obvious clothes and stuff like that). I think it goes like this: 1) animals; 2) computer; 3) all those things I've bought that would be difficult to replace, mostly those DVDs/books.

Jeffbert, that's how I felt when my house flooded back in '08. (Ended up loosing most of my Digimon manga and my InuYasha doll. Oh well.)

That's exactly the reason why I save the boxes from all my figurines now. That way, if there is a tornado or flood chance, I can put them all in their boxes and stuff them in this mondo-sized tub I have in the shed. (Really don't want to loose those figurines - I looked it up and it would cost over $600 to replace them all right now. o_o )

That is assuming you could still buy them, The Tawashi Bus Hat. I must admit, I spent some time thinking about putting my stuff in a big heavy container, but where would I put that?

Astro Forever, I really do not watch the news, but have a fairly decent idea of the overall deal. Yes, NA is in a bit of trouble. :mad:
