And apparently, the smilies change positions on their own.

 I had not even thought about 1st press! Remind me after I receive it about the pictures; Though without having the other to compare, I do not see what good can come of it. I have one early release boxed set: Melmo. This has the individual disc cases with the images on them. All the others have the cheap 3 discs/ case setup- oops, except Triton. Triton came in a folded case with clear & rigid plastic on it, & next to nothing else. All the others had booklets, but Triton had only a folded sheet.

When I ordered mine, Amazon said "3 left, more coming," but I would not count on it.

I received the Animerama set today! I expect to start watching Belladonna tonight. All 3 discs are in one case, each has a 3.5 by 5" 12 page 'booklet' that gives details. As for the live action set, there is an appropriate thread for it:
Live-action Tetsuan Atom on DVD!!!!!

& an older thread, about the series itself:
Live Action Astroboy

At least we'll have pictures for one, with only one left to go. :p There's a couple Japanese people I've contacted to get information about this, but unfortunately they're quite slow at returning my email which isn't customary for them.

Amazon.co.jp is insanely fast at shipping for me. If they sent it to you today, you might expect to get it tomorrow. :o hmy:

DHL is the carrier, & these spams allegedly from FEDEX, UPS, & DHL, routinely arrive in my SPAM folder, each with an attachment supposedly containing the details of shipments I know nothing about. I refuse to open them, though in this case, it is tempting!

Ah never mind. They use FEDEX for me. Well at least that means you have less chances of paying custom duties.

Oh, well, if I really want it, I can try one of those buying agents.

Was that the only cancellation on your order?

Yep. It's sad how all the stuff that has English dubs in Japan is out of stock.

Speaking of agents, I used one to order the two Lion Books DVDs that had English dubs from marketplace sellers on Amazon.co.jp.

Let me know what stories are on them! I have two Lion Books, volumes 6 & 7, which have the stories that gave their plots to 4 of the B&W episodes. I hope to include references to these in my book.
