I would love to meet you guys! Maybe it would be difficult to meet "worldwide" in a single place, but we COULD possibly gather regionally and maybe "video conference" with each other -- you know, the North American group could kinda divide the northern hemisphere into thirds. Then we'd have Australia, UK and/or Europe! Kind of like when they had choruses from around the world sing together for one of the Olympic Games.

Astro Forever is my hero - I had no idea French was her native language, because she communicates so fluently in English!

We should brainstorm about this though, because I bet it would be possible to meet up somehow.

A video or audio conferencing was just what I had in mind. 3D chat would even be cool so long as we could stream movies. Not the same as meeting in reality, but the next best thing

Incidentally, Novacain indicated in the chat thread today that she had noticed some peole had gotten better at English while browsing the old threads, and I was wondering if I was among those! It's probably the case, but I don't find it so obvious when I read my old posts. I remember I had to work a lot harder to hide my weaknesses at the time than I do now (but I still have to ).

My own heroes here would be Strange Wings and Ataru Moroboshi - 4 to 5 languages each! hmy: I struggled enough with just a second one!

There is a pretty good possibility that I mentioned somethin' along these lines, amongst other things... The probability that you were one of the said mentioned is also pretty good. I find it very interesting how you refer to it as a weakness rather than a strength... When is learning somethin' an inferior trait?
